Introduction: Faddeev-Yakubovsky search for 4 H Filikhin and Gal, PRL 89, (2002). negative? (but positive on d model) Stochastic variational search for 4 H The result strongly depends on the choice of N interaction. What is the problem on theoretical search for 4 H? Our publicatioin concluded that A theoretical search for 4 H is still an open subject, because the 3 S 1 N interaction has to be determined very carefully, since B is sensitive to the 3 S 1 channel of the N interaction. How to determine the 3 S 1 N interaction?

Introduction: S=-2 hypernucleus A key issue of S= 2 study: The total binding energies of the S= 2 hypernuclei strongly depend on the strength of the N interaction than the strength of the interaction. For example, 4 H pn Number of N pairs: 4 Number of pairs: 1

Introduction: How to determine the 3 S 1 N interaction? A detailed analysis concerning p scattering has not yet become available. Experimental B values for 4 H*, 4 He* and 5 He would give useful information for pinning down the 3 S 1 N interaction. However, there is a long standing problem on s-shell hypernuclei: anomalously small binding of 5 He. Recently, Akaishi et al. successfully resolved the anomaly by explicitly taking account of N- N coupling. Akaishi et al., PRL 84, 3539 (2000).

Anomalously small binding of 5 He Λ Why is the 5 He anomaly important for the study of S= 2 hypernuclei? The algebraic structure of part of N potential for S= 2 hypernuclei is same as that for 5 He. S= 1 hypernuclei N i=1 V N i 3 1 H v 2 t 3 v 2 s 4 H, 4 3 He v 2 t 3 v 2 s 4 H, 4 He 5 v 2 t 1 v 2 s 5 He 3 v t v s 3:1 S= 2 hypernuclei V N i j V 1 2 N Y i=1 j =1 4 H 3 v t v s u s 5 H, 5 He 9 2 v t 3 2 v s u s 6 He 6 v t 2 v s u s 3:1

Results Using the ND S YY potential, we obtain B (calc) ( 6 He) = B (calc) ( 6 He) 2 B (calc) ( 5 He) = 1.55 MeV, which is slightly larger than the experimental value, B (exp) ( 6 He) = MeV. On the other hand, using NF S YY potential, B (calc) ( 6 He) = 1.12 MeV, is fairly in good agreement with the experiment. We have also calculated the hypernuclei using a modified ND S (mnd S ) potential; the strength of the diagonal part of the mnd S is reduced by multiplying by (exp) 6

Baryon mixing in ΛΛ 5 H The N -N and N - potentials enhance the ground state energy, E = 9.46 MeV E = MeV, V N but hardly enhance the N probability, P N = 2.62 % P N = 2.83 %, for the NF S potential. H V N h= V P N H N V N, P N P N P N = V V N H P N forthe mnd S,. or. = forthe NF S..

Summary We have performed a systematic study for S= 2 hypernuclei ( 4 H, 5 H, 5 He, 6 He ), in a complete six-body and fully coupled channel treatment. Using a set of baryon-baryon potentials among the octet baryons which is consistent with all of the experimental binding energies of s-shell (hyper-)nuclei, 4 H has a particle stable bound state. 4 H could exist. Fully baryon mixing of the 5 H and 5 He. Larger P N probability has been obtained even for the weaker -N potential of the mnd S. The N- N and N- potential play important roles and significantly enhance the ground state en-

In the future study The present study is the first attempt to explore the few-body systems with multistrangeness in a fully coupled channel scheme. Further studies should be made: Structure of 4 H. Structure of 5 H and 5 He. Charge symmetry breaking between 5 H and 5 He. Structure of 6 He. The other exotic few-body systems with strangeness.

The other exotic few-body systems with strangeness. Kaon-nucleus systems. Exotic structure of baryon such as (1405). Pentaquark. In the future study Relativistic effects should be taken into account. Semi-relativistic hamiltonian in the center-of-mass system. H = A i =1 m i 2 p i 2 m i For example, we suppose the 3 H of (0s) 3, with size parameter b. i j V ij, with A i=1 p i =0 =exp { 1 2 b2 3 i =1 r i 2}
