2 G A L L E R Y N 2 N Despite much narrative surrounding a conflict between modernism and realism it is now largely regarded as fictitious Realism and modernism can work side by side like East and West at least in the field of arts, painting and sculpture. The N2N Gallery presents a harmony between the two as it collaborates with artists of different styles and cultures, including those who diverted from the realistic streamline in their creative work in favor of academic professionalism. Perhaps ahead of their time in many ways, as such a priority remains at the fore for most. Still, there are those who feel technologies stifle the presumption of uniqueness that is crucial in art to our mind. As the world moves at a lightning speed, art seems to be moving in a similar fashion, but needs another intermediary galleries, museums, mass-media. Arts can do without words for a long time. Its power is different. Traditional genres, techniques and themes hold immense value and significance as each individual work of art is completely unique. Such could not be said so readily of the genres, techniques and themes of late modernism, despite their indisputable appeal. In spite of political change and societal progression humans by nature hold a desire to furnish their homes as they choose To dream beneath their favorite picture, to converse over a piece of art, to imagine themselves as part of it Only in Central Europe the phenomenon of simultaneous belonging of an author to several national cultures is so common. The extra power of Central European art is in the incomparable originality of impressions. By this it would be impossible to overestimate the noble initiative of N2N a gallery inspired by multi-cultural ideas and an untarnished love of art. Its mission is not limited to the representation of one country or another, but uniquely in its unity in parity concept. It is this that offers the special inner affinity creating the links to this cultural chain, which naturally stretches itself between continents, consolidating their union forever. 1
