Version entirely in stainless steel. APPLICATIONS Vertical ultistage centrifugal pup suitable for ediu to large user water systes. Recoended for pressurisation units, boiler supply, hot water and cooling water circulation, fire fighting and washing systes, drinking water supply and filling of pressure vessels, sprinkler and watering systes and water purification systes. CONSTRUCTION FEATURES OF TE PUMP NKV 1-1- All the parts in contact with the liquid are rust-proof. Microcast AISI 3 stainless steel internal pup body, ULTEM diffusers, AISI 31 pup shaft, icrocast steel ipellers, AISI 3 liner. Cast iron external pup body treated with cataphoresis paint coating, cast iron support. Maintenance-free cartridge silicon/silicon echanical seal, reovable without reoving the otor starting fro,. Rigid otor-pup coupling. NKV AISI 3 stainless steel ipellers, diffusers and liner, to ensure durability and high perforance. AISI 31 stainless steel pup shaft. Cast iron pup body and seal disc, treated with cataphoresis paint coating. Carbon stage body bushing, to ensure durability in case of dry operation. Oversized ball bearings, fitted on the otor support to ensure duration and eliinate axial adjustents. PTFE floating adjustent ring, WRAS approved, for constant perforance. Silicon carbide/graphite echanical seal, reovable without reoving the otor starting fro,. Rigid otor-pup coupling. Special version fully ade of stainless steel available on request. 2 NKVE VERTICAL AIS MULTISTAGE CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS WIT MCE/P INVERTER MCE/P INVERTER MCE-P CONSTRUCTION FEATURES OF TE ELECTRONICS: MCE/P INVERTER The inverter continuously adjusts the rotation speed of the electric pup, keeping the pressure constant, even when the flow rate varies. The other electric pups, also with variable speed, are activated in cascade after the first one has reached axiu speed. Through odulation, they copensate the pressure fluctuations of the syste. For every operating cycle, it is possible to switch the restart to a different pup, therefore ensuring even use of all electric pups. It is possible to set operation ties for each individual pup, switching to another pup after such set ties. The "SP" pressure can be adjusted by the user using the "+" and "-" keys found on the MCE/P (as a rule, all the pups are set to the sae pressure value). With the new MCE/P, it is sufficient to set the data on one of the devices, and it will be autoatically propagated to the other pups of the syste. MODES OF OPERATION P kpa Q US gp Q IMP gp ft P kpa Q US gp Q IMP gp ft PERFORMANCE CURVES WITOUT INVERTER PERFORMANCE CURVES WIT INVERTER The inverter is capable of aintaining a constant pressure even when the flow rate varies. The operating pressure can be adjusted by the user. A good pressure set-point is between 1/3 and /3 of the axiu head of the electric pup. In this way, high efficient of the pup is aintained, together with axiu saving. In addition, the MCE/P does not block the pup if the pressure is not reached, but the flow is present. This prevents service interruptions in case of high flows. For ore inforation refer to the technical appendix. 1
