1 STONESTREET FAMILY CENSUS RETURNS These focus on my family of Stonestreets, based in Sussex, England. Any others I come across during my research I have added at the end of the table. Sometimes the handwriting has been difficult to read, hence a couple of? after some details. Christian names, and where possible BMD dates, are listed in the left-hand column. Family groupings are colour coded. Where a child has left their parents and formed a new family, this is coded in a different colour and cross referenced to the previous table. Where a different name appears on the census I have included this in the left-hand column, this applies to anyone staying with the family or where a daughter has married. My direct family line I have listed in Bold type and highlighted with colour of new family. (ans Ward & Eleanor: Frederick & Sarah Ann: George & Mary) I have also colour coded the addresses so movement can be seen. It is interesting to note that between 1841 and 1861 ans Stonestreet is the ead of household at Socknersh Farm, but by 1871 he has moved and Frederick is now the ead of household, having moved back home with his new family from Serag? Oak. ans is now living in Schyland? Villa. Where I have had to split families living at the same address during a census period, the colour coding will help to place them. I have not repeated the addresses. If you notice any errors, or can enlighten me on my?, or have a Stonestreet to add, then please contact me at: sharon@spaced8.plus.com
