3 Husband: Ambrose Griffith Fields Fields Family Cemetery and Homeplace were located about half way down the hill on the left of highway 159 before you get into Concord. The old homeplace was bought in years past and the house was torn down. Do not know if the cemetery was left intact but do not think that the graves were ever moved. Ambrose & Sarah are buried there with some of their children and some of the MockBees. 3

8 Child: Perry D. Fields Lt. Perry D. Fields was a Confederate soldier with Co. A, 5th Ky. Regiment. Promoted to Full Lieutenant 2nd Class Enlisted as a Sergeant on 10 September 1862 in Falmouth, KY Enlisted in Company A, 5th Infantry Kentucky Regiment on 10 September Killed 31 August 1864 at the Battle of Jonesboro. 8

13 Child: Burt Fields Burt may be one of two children who died at birth or shortly after. 13 children were born to Ambrose and Sarah, 11 grew to adulthood. It is also possible that Burt was the same person as Burt Fields, brother to Emma Florence Fields, daughter of Harrison, and has been placed in this generation by mistake. However, research through the LDS shows a Burt Fields born 1850 in Pendleton County, KY. 13
