2 SEA OFFSHORE 2018 In 2018, SEA Offshore celebrates its third version, with previous events organized in the cities of Cartagena and Isla Múcura by the Colombian Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). The event offers attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas on maximizing technology, processes and lessons learned from offshore operations alongside experts involved in the planning and executing offshore projects in the Latin America and Caribbean Region. This year, the SPE joins forces with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Latin America and the Caribbean Region, to examine offshore activity from the exploratory phase through production. The multidisciplinary workshop features 16 technical presentations delivered by experts from Ecopetrol S.A and Colombia s National Hydrocarbon Agency (ANH) as well as international operators participating in roundtable discussions with other attendees. SPE and the AAPG are committed to promoting the dissemination and transfer of technical knowledge to maximize the region s offshore potential.
