1 DIGITAL LIBRARY INTRODUCTION FOR TEACHERS COMPILED BY LINDA ROCHE, FAIRFAX HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER LIBRARIAN LAUSD Digital Library, not to be confused with SBAC Digital Library, is a collection of subscription databases for student and teacher research needs with free access from any LAUSD computer. These databases are often required use in higher education. Our students will need a working knowledge of digital database research strategies for college-readiness, and if we don t provide it, we are setting them up for failure. You can familiarize yourself with LAUSD Digital Library subscription databases with this guide, and more in-depth search strategy help is part of the library s mission of Information Literacy for all. icles include ready -made citations and may be ed for later access from non-lausd computers.
