Name: Date: Carbon Dioxide Light Energy Oxygen Water Minerals Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make food for themselves. Photo means light. Synthesis means to make. During photosynthesis, plants use light energy to convert carbon dioxide from the air and water and minerals from the soil into glucose (sugar) to feed the plant. This process releases oxygen that we need to breath. Can you label the diagram with the things a plant needs for photosynthesis?
