Solve quadratic equations by graphing, factorising, completing the square, using quadratic formula.. Solve quadratic inequations using a sketch of the function.. Know that the discriminant of ax bx c is b acand be able to use the discriminant to determine the nature of the roots of a quadratic. 7. Use the discriminant to find the condition that roots of a quadratic are real and equal or unequal. 8.
