1 Dear Future Geometr Student, Geometr Summer Packet Name I hope ou are excited for our upcoming ear in Geometr! Geometr allows us to measure the world around us in a ver precise and accurate manner. It allows us to form valid arguments with deductive reasoning, and find counterexamples.. This branch of mathematics is foundational for all other areas of math. Your level of success in Geometr will directl correlate to how successful ou will be in our future math experiences. As ou probabl know, our high school mathematics classes are cumulative. This means that ou will need to utilize concepts previousl learned to be successful. The purpose behind this summer homework packet is to reacquaint ou with the necessar skills to be successful in this ear s math course. Please be prepared to submit this assignment during our second Geometr class. It will be graded for accurac as well as completion. Work needs to be shown in a neat and organized manner, and it is perfectl acceptable to complete the packet on separate sheets of paper. Just be sure to staple an extra papers to the packet. Also, do not rel on a calculator. Show ALL work for each problem and take our time.
