Dark Colours Dark colours are not recommended for high wear applications such as busy kitchen countertops. Dark colours will show scratching more readily than lighter colours, requiring more care and maintenance. KEY INNOVATIONS B Innovations Electro Series compact laminate available from Ballarat Plant lead-time 2 weeks. Electro Series laminates are non postforming horizontal grade, suitable for kitchen benchtops and other moderate wear areas. 3 Is suitable for. Requires special tools for fabrication. Flute Silver has a specific grain direction as indicated by arrows printed on the protective film. When fabricating, adjacent panels must be aligned so that the arrows run in the same direction. Aluminium Forte has a superior scratch resistance when compared to other metallic laminates, however it is only recommended for vertical use. NOTES Innovations All Innovations laminates are suitable for vertical use only with the exception of Brushed Stainless Steel and Electro Series. Innovations designs have been manufactured for optimum decorative effect and have minimal surface protection. The majority of the vertical grades of Innovations laminates have low resistance to wear, scratch and impact. The non metallic laminates have a medium resistance to impact. Appropriate care must be exercised in the application and use of these products.
