We have taken the website This website is modeled as an intuitionistic fuzzy graph G = (V,E,µ,γ) by considering the navigation of the customers. In this intuitionistic fuzzy graph, the links are considered as vertices and the path of the links is considered as edges. The weightage of each edge are considered as number of visitors (membership value), number of non-visitors (non-membership) and drop off case (intuitionistic fuzzy index). For four different time periods, the four links. Microcontroller-boards, 2. /Log-in html, 3. / and 4. /Project kits of the given website are taken for our calculation. In this intuitionistic fuzzy graph we constructed two intuitionistic fuzzy matrices using incoming and outgoing links to G. The energy of these matrices along with its lower and upper bound are discussed. The spreading rate of virus of the given graph in terms of these two matrices is discussed. These concepts are illustrated with real time example. 2 800 B. Praba, G. Deepa, V.M. Chandrasekaran. Introduction Graph theory was introduced by Leonhard Euler when he solved the Konigsberg bridge problem in 735. Many real life problems can be represented by graph. In computer science, graphs are used to represent networks of communications, data organization, computational devices, the flow of computation etc. The link structure of a website can be represented by a directed graph in which the vertices are the web pages available at the website and a directed edge from page A to page B exists if and only if A contains a link to B (see []). A similar approach can be taken to problems in travel, biology, computer chip design and many other fields. Hence graph theory is widely used in solving real time problems. But when the system is large and complex it is difficult to extract the exact information about the system using the classical graph theory. In such cases fuzzy graph is used to analyze the system. Fuzzy graph was introduced by Kaufmann in 973 (see [8]). Intuitionistic fuzzy graph was introduced by Atanassov in 999 (see [2]). Gutman introduced the concept of energy of a graph in 978 (see [7]). The energy of a fuzzy graph and its bounds are discussed in 203 (see []). The energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph and its bounds are discussed in 204 (see [2]). The authors (see [5]) discussed the virus spread in an intuitionistic fuzzy network. The relationship between the number of visitors and the energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph is analyzed which is used to find the spreading rate of virus. Many authors (see [3], [3], [4], [9], [0]) discussed the existence of an epidemic threshold τ c. In 205 (see [6]), Max-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix M(G) of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph is defined and the extreme energy of M(G) is obtained. Also an explicit expression of the coefficients of the characteristic polynomial of M(G) is determined. These concepts are illustrated with real time example. This paper is organized as follows. In Section 2, we give all the basic definitions related to energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. In Section 3, we defined the In-Min and Out-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. In Section 4, we illustrate these concepts by taking the website of In Section 5, we give the conclusion.
3 SPREADING RATE OF VIRUS BETWEEN INCOMING AND Preliminaries 2.. Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graph Definition. (see [2]) An intuitionistic fuzzy graph is defined as G = (V,E,µ,γ) where V is the set of vertices and E is the set of edges. µ is a fuzzy membership function defined on V V and γ is a fuzzy non-membership function defined on V V. We denote µ(v i,v j ) by µ ij and γ(v i,v j ) by γ ij such that (i) 0 µ ij + γ ij (ii) 0 µ ij,γ ij,π ij, where π ij = µ ij γ ij. Hence (V V,µ,γ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Definition 2. (see [2]) An intuitionistic fuzzy adjacency matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy G is defined as A(IG) = [a ij ] where a ij = (µ ij,γ ij ). Note that µ ij represents the strength of the relationship between v i and v j and γ ij representsthestrengthofthenon-relationshipbetweenv i andv j.theadjacency matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph can be written as two matrices one containing the entries as membership values and the other containing the entries as non-membership values. i.e. A(IG) = ((µ ij ),(γ ij )) Energy of an Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graph Definition 3. (see [2]) The eigen values of an intuitionistic fuzzy adjacency matrix A(IG) is defined as (X,Y) where X is the set eigen values of A(µ ij ) and Y is the set of eigen values of A(γ ij ). The energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph G = (V,E,µ,γ) is defined as ( λ i X λ i, δ i Y δ i ) where λ i X λ i is defined as an energy of the membership matrix denoted by E(µ ij (G)) and δ i Y δ i is defined as an energy of the non-membership matrix denoted by E(γ ij (G)) Virus Spread in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Network Definition 4. (see [5]) If E(µ ij (G)) > E(γ ij (G)) i.e. If the number of visitors are maximum in an intuitionistic fuzzy network then the spreading rate of virus will be maximum. If E(µ ij (G)) > E(γ ij (G)) then the infection rate of an intuitionistic fuzzy network is defined as β = maxµ ij and the curing rate of an intuitionistic fuzzy network is definedas δ = min γ ij. Theratio τ = β δ (δ 0) is the effective spreading rate and τ c = λ maxa(µ ij ) where λ maxa(µ ij ) is the largest eigen value of the adjacency matrix A(µ ij ) of an intuitionistic fuzzy
4 802 B. Praba, G. Deepa, V.M. Chandrasekaran network. Definition 5. (see [5]) If E(µ ij (G)) < E(γ ij (G)) i.e. If the number of visitors are minimum in an intuitionistic fuzzy network then the spreading rate of virus will be minimum. If E(µ ij (G)) < E(γ ij (G)) then the infection rate of anintuitionisticfuzzynetworkisdefinedasβ = min µ ij andthecuringrateofan intuitionistic fuzzy network is defined as δ = maxγ ij. The ratio τ = β δ (δ 0) is the effective spreading rate and τ c = λ maxa(γ ij ) where λ maxa(γ ij ) is the largest eigen value of the adjacency matrix A(γ ij ) of an intuitionistic fuzzy network. 3. Out Min-In Min Intuitionistic Fuzzy Matrix of an Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graph In this section, we consider an intuitionistic fuzzy graph and constructed two intuitionistic fuzzy matrices using incoming and outgoing links in this graph. The spreading rate of virus of the given graph is analyzed in terms these matrices. Definition 6. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. node i, define α j = maxµ ij and σ j = minγ ij. i i Theorem 7. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. If α j = maxµ ij and σ j = minγ ij then (α j,σ j ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set on V. i i Proof. If α j = maxµ ij then α j = µ sj for some s V. Similarly if σ j = i min i γ ij then σ j = γ tj for some t V. Here, we have γ tj γ sj. That is γ tj γ sj. Now α j = µ sj γ sj γ tj. This gives µ sj + γ tj. That is α j +σ j. Therefore 0 α j +σ j. Hence (α j,σ j ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set on V. Definition 8. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. The In-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph is defined as M I (G) = ((r ij,s ij )) where r ij = min(α i,α j ) and s ij = min(σ i,σ j ). Lemma 9. M I (G) is a symmetric matrix. Proof. WehaveM I (G) = ((r ij,s ij ))wherer ij = min(α i,α j ) = min(α j,α i ) = r ji and s ij = min(σ i,σ j ) = min(σ j,σ i ) = s ji. Hence M I (G) is a symmetric matrix.
5 SPREADING RATE OF VIRUS BETWEEN INCOMING AND Theorem 0. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph and α i,σ j are defined above. If M I (G) = ((r ij,s ij )) and if r ij = min(α i,α j ) and s ij = min(σ i,σ j ) then (r ij,s ij ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Proof. Let r ij = min(α i,α j ) and s ij = min(σ i,σ j ). If r ij = α i and s ij = σ i then 0 r ij + s ij. Now if r ij = α i and s ij = σ j then α i α j σ j α i + α j. Therefore 0 α i + α j. Hence (α i,σ j ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Similarly we can prove the other cases also (if like r ij = α j, s ij = σ i and r ij = α j, s ij = σ j ) Definition. The energy of the In-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph is defined as E(M I (G)) = (E(r ij ),E(s ij )) where E(r ij ) is the sum of the absolute of the eigen values of the matrix r ij and E(s ij ) is the sum of the absolute of the eigen values of the matrix s ij. Definition 2. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. For all vertex i, define θ i = maxµ ij and φ i = minγ ij. Then it can be prove that j j (θ i,φ i ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set on V. Definition 3. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. The Out-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph is defined as M O (G) = ((u ij,v ij )) where u ij = min(θ i,θ j ) and v ij = min(φ i,φ j ) then it can be prove that (u ij,v ij ) is an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Also it can prove that M O (G) is a symmetric matrix. Definition 4. The energy of the Out-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph is defined as, E(M O (G)) = (E(u ij ),E(v ij )) where E(u ij ) is the sumof the absolute of the eigen values of thematrix u ij ande(v ij ) is the sum of the absolute of the eigen values of the matrix v ij. Example 5. For the graph in Fig., the In-Min intuitionistic fuzzy matrix is M I (G ) = (0.9, 0.) (0.8, 0.) (0.5, 0.) (0.6, 0.) (0.8, 0.) (0.8, 0.) (0.5, 0.) (0.6, 0.) (0.5, 0.) (0.5, 0.) (0.5, 0.) 7 SPREADING RATE OF VIRUS BETWEEN INCOMING AND Theorem 6. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph and if r,r 2,...r n are the eigen values of the matrix r ij then (r i ) 2 = (r ii ) 2 +2 (r ij ) 2. i<j n Proof. Sum of the square of the eigen values of r ij is equal to the trace of (r ij ) 2. (r i ) 2 = trace(r ij ) 2 = r r +r 2 r r n r n + r 2 r 2 +r 22 r r 2n r n r n r n +r n2 r 2n +...+r nn r nn (r i ) 2 = (r ii ) 2 +2 (r ij ) 2. i<j n Similarly we can prove if s,s 2,...s n are the eigen values of the matrix s ij then n (s i) 2 = n (s ii) i<j n (s ij) 2 if u,u 2,...u n are the eigen values of the matrix u ij then n (u i) 2 = n (u ii) i<j n (u ij) 2 if v,v 2,...v n aretheeigen values of thematrix v ij then n (v i) 2 = n (v ii) i<j n (v ij) 2. Theorem 7. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph with n vertices. Then (r ii ) 2 +2 (r ij ) 2 +n(n ) A 2 n E(rij (G)) i<j n n (r ii ) 2 +2 where A is the determinant of r ij. i<j n (r ij ) 2

Cauchy Schwarz inequality is ( ) 2 ( a i b i )( a 2 i b 2 i If a i =, b i = r i then ( 2 ( )( ) r i ) (r i ) 2 (E(r ij (G))) 2 n (r ii ) 2 +2 E(r ij (G)) Lower bound. n (r ii ) 2 +2 ) i<j n i<j n. E(r ij (G)) GM { r i r j } = E(r ij (G)) (r ij ) 2 +2 ( n r i r j (r ii ) 2 +2 i<j n ) 2 n(n ) = i<j n (r ij ) 2 +n(n )GM { r i r j } ( n r i (n ) ) 2 n(n ) = A 2 n (r ij ) 2 +n(n ) A 2 n. (2)
9 SPREADING RATE OF VIRUS BETWEEN INCOMING AND From equations () and (2), we get (r ii ) 2 +2 (r ij ) 2 +n(n ) A 2 n E(rij (G)) i<j n n (r ii ) 2 +2 (r ij ) 2. i<j n Similarly we can prove the bounds for the other cases. Theorem 8. Let G = (V,E,µ,γ) be an intuitionistic fuzzy graph with n vertices and if E(r ij (G)) 2 r ij, E(s ij (G)) 2 then E (r ij (G))+E (s ij (G)) 2n 2. Proof. From the given statement we have E(r ij (G)) 2 2 = 2 r ij ( s ij ) 2 2n 2 E(s ij (G)) E(r ij (G))+E(s ij (G)) 2n 2. Hence the proof. s ij s ij 4. Numerical Examples In this section, we illustrate the above concepts by taking the website This website represented by a directed intuitionistic fuzzy graph. For this graph the spreading rate of virus is analyzed between incoming and outgoing links.
