On seeing him children shouted with joy because he played with them, he taught them to fly kites, shoot marbles, and told long stories. The only problem with Rip was that he was very lazy. He did no work on his own farm and just idled away his time. Weeds grew on his farm. Rip's constant companion was his dog, named Wolf. 3 UNSEEN PASSAGE Rekha was a girl of twelve. She was good at studies but she often came late to school. Her teachers told her again and again that she must be punctual. Sometimes, she was punished too. But she never learnt to be punctual. Once Rekha was to appear for an important examination. The top ten students who would pass the examination, were to be given a scholarship. Rekha was very keen to win the scholarship. But she reached late in the examination. She could not complete her paper and all her hopes were dashed. she learnt that day was to do things on time. i. What was the name of the girl? ii. How many years old was the girl? iii.
