20 Conclusions Learnings from RD2773 retrograde magnetite-albite-chlorite alteration associated with Gairdner Dyke Swarm dolerite-basalt dykes intense retrograde magnetite-chlorite formation elsewhere in the deposit when Gairdner dykes intrude hematite breccias Huang et al. (2016) and Apukhtina et al. (2016) extensively altered quartz-phyric subvolcanic unit which is likely older than the Roxby Downs Granite presence of albite and hydrothermal K-feldspar HyLogger can t distinguish magmatic from hydrothermal, but petrography can (Kontonikas-Charos et al., 2017) presence of anhydrite and apatite (Apukhtina et al., 2017, in revision and Krneta et al., 2016) presence of Ca-rich carbonates which are precursors to widespread Fe-rich carbonates (Apukhtina, 2016 PhD thesis) HyLogger vs QXRD mineralogy displays similar trends, but future work to calibrate the interpreted HyLogger data against the QXRD results deep, paragenetically early, magnetite-apatite-uraninite-pyrite-chalcopyrite dated hydrothermal minerals at OD, i.e. uraninite, apatite, hematite (Apukhtina et al., 2017, in revision, Thompson et al. 2016) supports the ongoing work showing that hematite (and other Fe-oxides) can be successfully dated Ciobanu et al. (2013) and Courtney-Davies et al. (2016) 20
