5 Carrapateena Prospect Discovery History In June 2005, a private company, RMG Services Pty Ltd, made a new Cu-Au discovery in the Gawler Craton, South Australia Hosted by the Andamooka Complex within the Olympic Cu-Au Province, which also hosts the giant Olympic Dam Cu-Au-U deposit, ~100km to the northwest The second of only two holes drilled returned: 1.9% Cu, 0.7g/t Au from 476m (incl. 3.0% Cu, 0.4g/t Au from 476m) Teck Cominco Australia optioned into a group of four tenements (Torrens Project) in August/September 2005, agreeing to drill 75,000m into the Carrapateena Prospect. 5

7 Drilling Strategy and Status Carrapateena Prospect Initially broad spaced (200m x 200m) drill pattern to define breccia/alteration system over main gravity target Subsequently, the majority of drill holes targeted geophysical anomalies and/or stepped out along zones of favourable geology 100m spaced infill holes CAR17, 18 & 19 were drilled to define a NNW mineralised trend, originally hit by CAR02 and CAR07 A major E-W mineralised trend is defined by CAR24, 25, 26, 32 and 39, & appears to adjoin the south end of the CAR07-17 trend A possible third ~N-S mineralised trend is emerging immediately north of CAR32, with CAR16 & CAR31 also intersecting brecciahosted mineralisation Olympic Dam-style breccia/alteration systems contain discrete breccia bodies and not all holes will intersect mineralisation 8
