Location: GRHL 6 Day/Time: W :pm-:pm. Please comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the professor's teaching methods and style. Response() Response() Response() The class was split into two parts. the first was a review of basic economic concepts. in the second, we read articles that addressed a number of different health policy issues. the second part of the class was great - i wouldn't change a thing on that section. the first half, though, was very slow. i understand that the professor didn't want to assume that we had a lot of economics knowledge, but even first year torts professors assume that we understand concepts like moral hazard, adverse selection, and decreasing marginal returns...these are not concepts that should have taken well over an hour to explain (each!). We could benefit from more theoretical background. He explains things very well, runs a very interesting class, and is overall just a very good teacher. For the second half of the semester, his strategy of assigning - papers as mandatory and having us read one of a selection of -4 was great - it allowed us to pick the reading, to some extent, and gave us material for the class discussion.. Please comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the course. Response() It's really difficult field, and the course was mainly about economics.. Please offer additional feedback or anecdotes about the professor or course. Response() Klick is very knowledgeable in the field and very, very nice. Totally accessible to students.
