10 CALCULATION INVOLVING CHEMICAL EQUATIONS A chemical equation a way of showing the changes that take places in chemical equation. 11 PERCENTAGE YIELD (ALWAYS ABOUT PRODUCT) The quantity of product formed when all the limiting reactant reacts is called the theoretical yield. This value must be calculated from equation The amount of product actually obtained through experiment is called the actual yield.
