Most of our product is vegetatively propagated, although a small percentage is grown from seed. 4 Product Information Our top quality liners are established and well rooted, resulting in faster finishing times! y Bare Root Divisions We offer a DIG to ORDER program for quantities of 100 or more per variety. Please refer to our current bare root availability for Dig to Order material. Status changes throughout the year based on seasonal factors and plant development. Bare Root: Br#3, Br#2 and Br#1 e Our #1 Grade is ideal for potting into 1 or 2 gallon containers, depending upon plant variety and desired finish time. Prices listed are for #1 Grade Divisions unless specified otherwise. e Bare Root Perennial Divisions are sold in bags of 25, and considered as 1 flat for shipping. Bare Root Branched Shrubs are sold in bundles of 10. Special packaging charges apply, if shipped. We recommend you arrange to pick up this material, if possible. We maintain stock of many perennials, herbs, ornamental grasses and shrubs and we can often supply your needs. Custom orders require a minimum of per variety. A 25% non-refundable deposit and custom crop agreement is required prior to propagation. All custom orders must be shipped within thirty days of the scheduled delivery date or a holding fee will be assessed. 6 y Tags Colorful, descriptive picture tags are available for most varieties we grow. Stick tags are $0.10 each and hang tags are $0.20 each. All tags are sold only in bundles of fifty and are subject to availability at the time of shipping. If interested, please request tags at the time you place your order for best availability. We do not sell tags without plants. They are sold on an in stock basis and will not be back-ordered if not available when your order ships. Ordering Information y Plant Royalties We have listed any royalty fees for patented plants at the end of the descriptions. Please add the royalty price to the column prices for TOTAL COST per plant. y Immediate Shipments We produce a weekly current availability list which features Liner and Bare Root material ready for immediate sale. A current availability list can always be found at our website: and can be downloaded in Adobe Acrobat PDF. We also offer the same list by , in Excel format. We can fax a list on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis too. Contact Customer Service to be added to any of the above contact lists. Terms and Conditions y Shipping Minimum We require a minimum of 2 full boxes, or 6-8 flats to ship. Full boxes are the safest way to transport product and is the most economical for customers Bare root divisions (in multiples of 25 per variety) may be combined with potted liners also. y Terms and Pricing All sales are C.O.D. unless credit has been established. Pre-payment by check, VISA or MasterCard is acceptable. Once an established customer, you are welcome to apply for a credit account-contact us for a credit application. All prices are in U.S. funds only. Prices and policies are subject to change without notice. All prices quoted and orders shipped are sold F.O.B. Cornelius, Oregon. Freight charges will be added to the invoice. y Dormant Material We prefer to ship potted liners and plugs in an actively growing stage. We will ship dormant material only upon customer request. It is the customer s responsibility to bring plant material out of dormancy. Bare root material is also considered dormant. Please inspect roots upon arrival. Product should be kept cool and potted as soon as possible. Pot carefully to avoid planting crowns too deep. Keep soil on the dry side until the roots begin to grow. (Credits will not be issued for dormant potted liners and plugs that do not grow.) y Back Orders Although we make every effort to fill your order completely, unpredictable crop and weather conditions can sometimes cause delay or failure. In the event we are unable to ship your order in its entirety, we will gladly backorder a remainder of 4 flats or more. 7 y Substitution Policy Blooming Nursery does not substitute varieties except upon customer request. y Canceling Orders If for some reason it is necessary to cancel an order, you must submit a request to your Sales Representative as soon as possible. A fee of 25% will be assessed for orders already in process. y Shipping Information Blooming Nursery strives to deliver material to you on time and in excellent shape. We ship most bare root and liner orders via FedEx 3-Day or air freight. Larger orders may be shipped via common carrier on our wooden shelf pallets. Please consult your Sales Representative for options and freight quotes. Blooming Nursery guarantees that plant material will be supplied true to name. IMPORTANT - LIMITS OF LIABILITY Blooming Nursery, Inc. cannot guarantee against delays, mishandling or other causes beyond our control when shipping material by transportation carriers. Most carriers do not assume responsibility for perishable goods and do not guarantee timely transit. Please be advised that Blooming Nursery s liability is limited to the cost of the plants purchased from us. Once plants are delivered to the transportation carrier, the customer becomes solely responsible for any possible damage, loss or delay while in transit. This becomes even more critical during hot weather months. Please advise Blooming Nursery 5 business days in advance if weather conditions in your area become unfavorable at the time we anticipate shipping your order. We will do our best to advise you if shipment seems risky, but the customer must take responsibility for final approval of any shipment. y Packing Charges Blooming Nursery plant material is shipped in medium and large corrugated boxes, accommodating 4-8 flats. A packaging charge is added to all orders boxed for shipment. Plugs and Potted Liners: $1.75 per Flat Bare Root Material: $2.50 per Box Palletized Shipments: $10.00 per Pallet One-Way Shipper Up to $125.00, depending on number of shelves. Shipper holds about 80 flats. Shipper charge is in lieu of boxes. Bare Root Branched Shrubs - Packaging & Handling Charges Any Bare Root that does not fit into standard boxes will be assessed packaging and handling charges as follows: q If order is shipped via LTL, FedEx, UPS, Alpine, etc., - $20 per bundle of 10 ($2.00 ea) q If Bare Root is shipped via our trucks, - $10 per bundle of 10 ($1.00 ea) sales@bloomingnursery.com Pg

8 y Customs Fees Customers are responsible for arranging Customs Brokers and paying associated fees. Phyto-sanitary fees are added for regions requiring a certificate and are applied on a per shipment basis. Phytosanitary: $30.00 (All orders shipping to the Provinces of Canada) CQ Certificate: $20.00 All ornamental grasses being shipped to California Arrival Instructions for your Shipment Blooming Nursery wants you to be satisfied with every order placed with us. To ensure your plant material arrives in the best condition, please follow these important instructions when your shipment arrives: 1) Visually inspect your boxes BEFORE signing for them. Make a note on the packing slip and have it signed by the delivery driver if you notice: j Boxes appear damaged, OR j Boxes have been stored in excessive heat or cold 2) Unpack all plant material immediately. Liners Place potted liners in a cool, shaded area and water sparingly, if needed. Vernalized liners may show little or no top growth. Inspect the root system which should be well developed. Bare Root If bare root material arrives partially thawed from cold storage, they should not be refrozen. Allow roots to thaw out slowly in a cool, shaded place without direct sunlight before planting. Freshly-potted bare root material should be brought out of dormancy in a cold frame or cool greenhouse (below 55 degrees). 3) Damaged Plant Report and Inspection Request. If you discover plants have been damaged in transit, please notify our shipping department and then contact the carrier to claim damages. Please copy your Sales Representative on all correspondence so we can assist you as needed. j IMPORTANT: Save everything from the shipment, including boxes, shelves and netting. j ALWAYS take photographs of damaged plants and boxes. This is vital to the claim process. j KEEP records of all contact with the carrier. j Any problems or shortages MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS of receipt of shipment or they will not be honored. j Losses due to growing conditions, frost, overwintering or overwatering are customer s responsibility.
