CPPS Intergovernmental organization (created in 1952), now is a regional maritime system and a political and operative alliance to consolidate the precense of the countries in the region of the East Pacific and its efective and coordinated projection to the adjoining zones and to vinculate it to the Pacific bacin.

CPPS GEOGRAPHIC AREA CPPS: - CHILE - COLOMBIA - ECUADOR - PERU + PANAMA (Regional Seas Action Plan) to establish alliances, to develop joint projects and exchange of experiences on maritime issues, such as the impacts of climate change and the integrated evaluation of the marine environment at global level promoted by the United Nations Commitment of Galapagos for the XXI Century.

Participation in RFO meetings as observers. Preparing workshop in Future of ABNJ - next steps to follow with the Member States participation, and possible international advisory and participation of UNEP, Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) and the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) Preparing a workshop with international advisory, Designing Marine Policies, directed to Member States. GEF Program: Global Sustainable Management of Fisheries and Conservation of Biodiversity in the Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (ABNJ/AFJN). (component 1 Legal framework and Component 4 Spatial planning) Participaction as a Pilot Project together with the Abidjan Convention for the Global Ocean Network Partnership on Regional Ocean Governance - PROG invited by UNEP, IIAS and IDDRI. Searching a fellowship program for a doctoral thesis development in ocean policy. Developing a research project with LAB Peru-Corea to state the art of ocean policies in Latin America.
