FOCUSSED ON NEW BRUNSWICK New Brunswick Advantages Fraser Institute consistently ranks N.B. one of world s best mining jurisdictions Sisson Dungarvon Attractive cost structure and established infrastructure: eg. $135/m all-in drilling costs Mt Pleasant West Jake Lee Extended exploration seasons: 8+ months annually Experienced mining services industry: short lead times for planning and execution Geodex s recognized expertise and successes over the past decade in New Brunswick 8
FROM EXPLORATION TO DEVELOPMENT AND BACK TO EXPLORATION From 2004 to 2010 primary focus was exploration and development of Sisson Tungsten-Molybdenum Project Established Sisson as one of world s largest tungsten deposits Geodex sold Sisson interest in June 2012 Sisson Feasibility Study completed by new owner Northcliff, plans mine construction beginning in 2014, low capital cost of $580M (January 29, 2013, Northcliff press release) Geodex has re-focused on exploration of high grade Dungarvon project Focus is discovery driven for shareholder return 9
REGIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR TUNGSTEN DEPOSITS New Brunswick Late Devonian intrusions are key source of critical metal (W, Mo, Sn, In) deposits in New Brunswick Exploration focus is to identify these intrusions under the pervasive glacial till cover Dungarvon Granite belongs to this type Other examples include Sisson, Mt Pleasant, Lake George Tools available include government mapping, geophysics, known anomalies at the regional scale and prospecting, geochemistry, geophysics and drilling at property scale 10
DUNGARVON PROJECT: HISTORY AND SETTING Target is contact zone of Late Devonian Dungarvon Granite, similar geologic environment to Sisson and other NB critical metal deposits Glacial till masks underlying geology and mineralization Seven documented tungsten, molybdenum and/or tin occurrences over 12km trend along granite contact Recce drilling in 2007 & 2011 intersected tungsten and molybdenum mineralization Prospecting continues to discover large high grade boulders, integrated exploration program used to vector towards boulder source Target is 1% W0 3 mineralization, approximately $700/tonne tungsten metal value 11
DUNGARVON PROJECT, Peaked Mountain Drill Target 2012 Program Focused on Peaked Mountain W-Mo targets Soil sampling extended and defined anomalous area Prospecting extended area of mineralized till boulders Two areas at Peaked Mtn with high grade boulders in glacial till; selected sampling assayed up to 6.7% W0 3, 0.8% Mo Numerous boulders with representative grab samples grading approximately 1% W0 3 + Mo (for comparison Sisson reserve grade is 0.066% WO 3 + 0.021% Mo) 12
DUNGARVON PROJECT, Peaked Mountain Drill Target 2012 Program (continued) Improved glacial transport models using excavator pitting has improved target definition Granite contact zone better defined through geophysics (magnetics, VLF) Integrated exploration program has constrained target drill area for source of large, high grade boulders 13
DUNGARVON PROJECT June, 2013 Drill Program Approximately 6 to 8 holes totaling 1300 metres to test contact zone for source of large >1% W0 3 boulders 1km+ strike length target defined from 2011 & 2012 programs Target is high grade tungstenmolybdenum mineralization that is near surface, amenable to open pit mining Drilling scheduled to begin early June Potential to deliver a significant discovery 14
BOULDER DISCOVERIES IN MINERAL EXPLORATION Examples of global mineral discoveries for which tracing boulders or mineralized material to source played a major role Patterson Lake South, uranium, Saskatchewan Clarence Stream, gold, New Brunswick Orvan Brook, zinc-lead-copper-silver, New Brunswick Windy Craggy, copper-gold-silver-cobalt, British Columbia Lac de Gras, diamonds, Northwest Territories Batu Hijau, copper-gold, Indonesia Gosowong, gold, Indonesia Ok Tedi, Papua New Guinea Large Dungarvon boulder with a representative sample grading 1.03% WO3, 0.25% Mo 15
DIVERSIFICATION THROUGH NEW PROJECTS Actively reviewed and generated potential new project ideas in 2012 Positioned to acquire and advance attractive new opportunities Focus remains New Brunswick 16
