The Third Punjab Education Sector Project was approved by the Bank's Board of Executive Directors on June 3, 2016 and became effective on October 5, 2016. The project supports the implementation of the Government of Punjab s larger education program supporting the 2018 Education Goals. This year, it is expected that 7 out 9 Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) will be achieved, while two DLIs are unlikely to be met.
