New Science Student Lounge The Science Student Lounge opened this fall and is available during the day for collaboration and study.
Free Tutoring in Resource Centre The resource centre is staffed by graduate teaching assistants who help students in 1st and 2nd year courses. Computers are available for laboratories, calculations and word processing.
Modern Teaching Laboratories Newly revised laboratories and lab equipment provides you with the chance to obtain sound laboratory skills and technical experience with modern analytical instrumentation.

Scholarships & Bursaries Students with good academic track records can receive a variety of awards: Outstanding Scholars ($1000-5000) 1st Year Entrance Scholarships ($1000+) Peter Wyzinski Memorial Award (3rd year: Chemistry, $500) Canadian Society for Chemistry Prizes (4th year: Chemistry, Biochemistry) Society for Chemical Industry Award (4th year: Chemistry, Biochemistry) Hutnik Research Award (Best research project, Biochemistry, $500) Dennis Tuck Memorial Award (Best research project, Chemistry, $500) Chemistry Research Internships ($1000/year for years 1-3) New! Summer NSERC Research Scholarships ($6000)
New Entrance Scholarship Chemistry Research Internships 12 scholarships per year (starting in fall 2014) Targeted for top high school students interested in a chemistry related career. $1000/year for the first 3 years of their chemistry major program Access to faculty-mentored research project for duration of scholarship. Application Process: Apply for entrance scholarship together with application to the Chemistry program. Recipients chosen from students accepted to UWindsor in the spring. Selection criteria will be based on high school grades and an application letter.
