All, Quilt N Paint News Creative Hands Quilt Shop and Decorative Painting Store 1907 W Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO 64083 (816)331-1992 www.creativehandsquiltnpaint.com March 2017 A Note from Sheryll Store Hours: Sunday: Closed Monday: Closed Nothing like minding your own business sewing samples for the shop and then getting run over by a Type A semi truck. Okay, it was the Type A flu but it really should be renamed to a fleet of semi s. Can you believe it is March? Nope me neither, because that means I ll be another year older!!! Oh my gosh I already have little purple crocus blooming, our weather has been absolutely nuts. I actually wore shorts one day last week! We have been getting ready for a couple of things at the shop, the first one is the Ozark Quilting Trail which starts April 1 st and runs through July 31 st. This is the first year we have done this one and am so excited to join with all of the other shops in Missouri to give you a chance to win a Janome 6600P professional sewing machine!!! So here is what this means for you: Each participating shop will offer a unique quilt block kit. The purchase of the kit enters you in a computerized drawing to win a Janome sewing machine. During the course of the Ozark Quilting Trail, a monthly drawing will occur for a Janome sewing machine. The more kits you purchase, the greater your chance of winning. At the end, all completed projects will be eligible to win the Grand Prize. A Janome 6600P professional sewing machine. All you have to do is visit the participating shops, purchase your quilt block kits, and turn them into a project. It really is that easy! A completed project consists of a minimum of five Ozark Quilting Trail blocks, quilted and bound. It then must be presented to a participating shop for photographic evidence. Check out the website http://ozarkquiltingtrail.com/ so that you can plan your trip! Tuesday through Friday 10-5 Saturday 10-3:00 If you need me to stay late all you have to do is call and let me know! 816-331-1992 The 2 nd thing we have been getting ready for is Row by Row. Did you see the new theme? It s Row by Row On the Go! The game is the same and keeps getting better! Beginning June 21, 2017, visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling to the stores. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows! I have loved being a part of this nation-wide shop hop the last couple of years! We have had people visit the shop from all over the country in search of our row! What fun! Stay tuned for our row reveal!!! Happy quilting and painting! Sheryll Bentley March 12 th, 2017 1
