TAMIU-TAMUK Map Pre-Engineering Program (TAMIU) Bachel of Science Degrees in Engineering (TAMUK) Chemical Engineering A. Ce Curriculum - 2 credit hours The indicated TAMIU courses are part of the TAMIU Ce Curriculum. They also substitute f the cresponding courses in the TAMUK Ce Curriculum. TAMIU students should note that they give themselves me flexibility in course options by completing the Ce Curriculum at TAMIU. Me imptantly, completing the entire TAMIU Ce Curriculum automatically satisfies the TAMUK Ce Curriculum without the need f a course-by-course evaluation. New Ce Curricula f both institutions have been adopted f students beginning their studies in the 201-15 academic year. These are used in this document. Current students using earlier versions of the Ce Curricula should consult academic adviss at TAMIU TAMUK, although in nearly all cases the course mapped below will satisfy the ce curricula in place f several years pri. TAMIU-TAMUK Map (continued) Pre-Engineering Program (TAMIU) Bachel of Science Degrees in Engineering (TAMUK) Chemical Engineering C. TAMIU courses meeting requirements f specific engineering degrees at TAMUK The TAMIU courses listed below fulfill the cresponding TAMUK courses. There are a few instances because of course content a co-requisite requirement in which a combination of TAMIU courses ( a single course) with me credit hours is used to satisfy a single TAMUK course, thus causing TAMIU students to take me credits than their peers at TAMUK. Each TAMIU student must decide (ideally with the advice of his/her TAMIU academic advis the TAMUK College of Engineering Academic Advis) if this is in his/her best interest. TAMIU students always have the option of completing these courses at TAMUK rather than TAMIU to avoid accumulating the extra credit hours.
