Success of the mini project This study proved the vital importance of digital data in the field disaster mitigation Enhance the capability of the Survey Department in supporting of GIS & RS technology for this type of projects Develop the collaboration with NBRO, the landslide mapping agency of Sri Lanka Identify and develop products suitable for disaster management agencies such as NBRO and others March 2007 The Survey Department of Sri Lanka 15
