Stages of Adulthood ~ Key Points Soul Initiation brought a glimpse, an encounter with a potential greater than the reality of your life this far. It brought the promise of a purpose essential to a Divine Plan the outlines of which remain elusive. All this potential and purpose is a Sacred Trust that only you can fulfill by your choices and efforts. The Guidance will be there if you develop the spiritual insight to see it. Adulthood in a Soul-Centred framework is accepting responsibility for the fulfillment of the Trust within. As a Soul Apprentice you develop the potentials of the Soul and prepare to play your part. As The Artisan you perform your Give Away and serve in a way that benefits, fulfills and delights.

Early Adulthood ~ Key Points Soul Initiation provided the glimpse - Early Adulthood provides the opportunity to develop the promise. The challenge here is learning to embody the potential of the Soul by developing the potential. This potential is developed not for its own sake ~ it is developed to be used ~ to serve. First, you must explore the Soul entrusted you by Spirit ~ its places of light and the places of shadow. Then, you follow the path traced out in the sand that only you see ~ listening for the call of your Soul work. Developing your gifts lays the foundation for your path of service and guides you to the place to serve. It is better to do one s own duty however poorly than to do the duty of another no matter how well ~ be who you are meant to be ~ serving where you are called to serve.

The nature of work has changed ~ it is not meant to serve profit but to serve others in the community. We need to make a difference ~ if we do not our spirit begins to die. The difference we need to make is in the hearts and lives of others. It is this service that benefits others and ourselves at the same time. With Guidance each can see the part (s)he plays in a bigger plan so everyone can move forward. When the Soul Work is done the plan moves forward and in the end becomes more important than any part.

Choice ~ Key Points We are talking about fate, free will and predestination here. Whose world is it anyhow? Your s, other s, nature s or Spirit s? Whose will holds sway? In everything there is the hand of Spirit and the hand of humanity at work. Predestination is the end implicit in the beginning ~ recall the seed ~ it is in the relationships. Fate is its expression in the physical world. Humanity is given absolute free will to choose between good & evil, justice & injustice ~ to formulate intent and to choose a deliberate course of action. Putting the course of action into practice invites a response ~ the response is within the realm of Spirit. Think of a sailboat ~ we are free to turn the tiller either way ~ Spirit provides the wind that enables the boat to move & ultimately the direction it can go.

Growth ~ Key Points Growth is spurred by service at this stage of development. Each is here to play a unique part in the Divine Plan and in doing so to fulfill her/his destiny. To better serve each develops her/his gifts and then offers them as a bounty to her(him)self and others. Meeting each new challenge for service results in call for further development. The more each serves ~ the more we have to offer ~ the better we are able to serve. Perfections are without end IF we meet each challenge as Spirit presents it to us. Our path of service will change ~ our way of service changes ~ our place of service will change as we fulfill our destiny.

Relationships ~ Key Points We tend to forget ~ it is all about people ~ not people in the abstract but each precious person. The service we perform benefits all involved ~ including you. The best motivator is the love of Spirit as embodied each person present. Service at this stage of development is a joyful enterprise ~ it brings fulfillment ~ it brings help it brings joy. If it does not bring you joy ~ you may not be on Spirit s path of service for you. It is all about nurturing ~ providing benefit ~ based on a deep understanding of what will lead to the greater good.

Mastery ~ Key Points You do not just master your Soul Work ~ your field of service ~ you contribute to its very essence. To do this you must know what belongs to you & what is another s duty/destiny. There is always enough energy for you to fulfill your destiny ~ there is never enough energy to do another s. Doing your Soul Work may leave you exhausted and content ~ doing another s leaves you just exhausted. Doing your Soul Work benefits all ~ even if others do not appreciate the benefit it brings. Doing your Soul Work fulfills, completes, expands opportunities ~ doing another s temporarily fills a gap. Do you bring something unique to it ~ it may be your Soul Work ~ if anyone can do it ~ its probably another s task.

The challenge at this stage is to fully walk a path in this world with Spiritual eyes & practical feet. You must find your own pace of grace ~ a pace that fulfills, enables & empowers while being sustainable. This path is determined by you, your virtues and the part Spirit has for you to play ~ moment to moment. When you accept the challenge presented by Spirit ~ acquiesce to its path and its opportunities ~ you will mange. As you walk the path joy sneaks up on you ~ confirming and supporting your Soul s Work.

Spirit ~ Key Points All that you can be is a Sacred Trust inherent in the Soul ~ it is a Trust that only you can fulfill. The concept of stewardship applies ~ the Trust is not to be abused or preserved in its original state ~ it meant to be developed and put to use. What Spirit gave you is your Creator s gift to you ~ what you do with those gifts is your gift to Spirit. All you do to fulfill the potential inherent in your Soul you will return to Spirit on your passing. The first step is to acknowledge what you were given as you come to know it ~ starting with Soul Initiation. The second step is acknowledge what was given and what was earned ~ credit the Giver ~ appreciate your choices and efforts. Acknowledge that the body is a gift as well ~ care for it so that you might better fulfill your destiny through your Give Away.

Crowning ~ Key Points An acknowledgement that awareness has shifted from the part one plays in the Divine Plan to the Plan itself. The Soul Work may not be done but the significance of the work shifts. Where Soul Work was central, now the Soul Work of all is woven together to make a meaningful whole. Where the destiny of one was central, now the destinies of all matter more. This is an acknowledgement of the Mastery of One s Soul Work, the Path one has trod, the benefit gained and the service performed. This is an anticipation of the essential, broader role in the Divine Plan yet to be played.
Crowning Celebration of character and an assumption of a broader role. The Crowning marks the psychospiritual shift from the individual soul to the community soul.
