Danube arm The Idea is to restore former parts of Danube inland delta on the right bank of the river, close to the state border to Austria and Hungary This Idea has 2 Dimensions: Urbanization of an agricultural land, that was forbidden due to iron curtain, but is very close to the city center An additionally and effective flood protection, no need to build higher flood parapets in the city
4. Project BAUM There is a need to coordinate common spatial development, because we have: plans cut along borders ideas that need a discussion questionable projects
4.1 Aims and Challenges Identify relevant issues together (e.g. pressure on building areas) Elaborate a detailed cross-border development strategy Convert into binding planning instruments (e.g. Bratislava Urban Master Plan) Set up first institutionalized Cross-Border Urban Regional Management
