OUR WELLSITE CONSULTING SERVICES Formation Pressure Wellsite Geology Gas Quality and Analysis Geochemistry Mass Spectrometry Automation

WELLSITE FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING Diversified Well Logging is proud to be able to offer a team of experienced formation pressure engineers Realtime services are provided at the rigsite, remotely, and a combination of both Pre-drill studies and geomechanical modelling will be provided Post-drill pressure and geomechanical evaluation will be performed Operational experience includes land, deepwater, and high pressure/temperature environments DWL s Mud Logging and Drill Monitoring fully complement our FORMATION PRESSURE consulting

WELLSITE FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING The evaluation of formation pressures is an integral part of the well planning process. In order to drill a well safely and economically it is necessary to know the pore pressure and fracture pressure. Pre-well studies give a best estimate of the well s pressure profile, while realtime evaluation allows modification of the profile and successful completion of the well Diversified Well Logging will be a valuable partner at each stage of the process

WELLSITE FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING DWL s formation pressure consultants will utilize any and all data sets available to them Pre Drill Surface geophysical Regional geology Seismic data Offset data While Drilling Drilling exponents, drilling data MWD/LWD parameters Drilling fluid properties, circulation parameters, gas, temperature Geological data, rock properties, cavings volume Post Drill Casing point logs Final well logs Pressure test data Data analyses

WELLSITE FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING Diversified is software neutral. Our consultants have expertise in all commonly used applications DrillWorks Predict IKON RokDoc RT Jewel Suite And others Diversified will use the client s software of choice

WELLSITE FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING Communication is key to any successful service With a formation pressure service, timely communication is critical Diversified s consultants follow strict protocols for daily reports and in the case of abnormal events Daily reports include all quantitative and qualitative pressure indicators For abnormal events, consultants will communicate immediately with client personnel as outlined in the pre-well Communication Protocol

WELLSITE FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING Diversified Well Logging s Formation Pressure Consulting Service is focused on REDUCING RISK IMPROVING DRILLING EFFICIENCY REDUCING COSTS through REDUCED NPT* *A 2009 survey by Welling & Co., found that the highest time percentage of non-productive time (NPT) is related to geomechanics and pressure related issues around 37%; this equals about 25% of drilling costs. On a $100M drilling project, the possibility exists to save up to $25M when using realtime FORMATION PRESSURE CONSULTING.

The Wellsite Geologist, as the source of all operational geologic information, is the most important link in the chain of communications between wellsite and management. He is the exploration department s man-on-the-spot with the responsibility for obtaining every possible scrap of information and insuring that the data are accurate and reliably transmitted to the client DWL s Wellsite Geologists are fully aware of their responsibility for all geology and geological activity WELLSITE GEOLOGY

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safety aspects of operations under their responsibility Supervising mud logging operations Supervising wireline operations Supervising MWD/LWD operations Picking casing and coring points Communication at and between rigsite and office Daily reports and log quality Data verification, storage, and transmission WELLSITE GEOLOGY

Diversified Well Logging s Wellsite Geologists are experts in their field Experience extends over the major plays in the continental USA Offshore experience covers shallow and deepwater blocks in the Gulf of Mexico Most have had years of experience working around the world DWL s Wellsite Geologists will assure delivery of reliable data Data that will ensure accurately evaluated formations And successfully completed wells WELLSITE GEOLOGY

Diversified Well Logging is committed to delivering the maximum value from its data Formation gas is an important source of first-look formation and reservoir evaluation A multi step approach is taken to ensure that gas data quality is assured For DWL, Quality Controlled equals Quality Assured GAS QUALITY and ANALYSIS

Gas Quality Process Issues explained/corrected and data returned for new review Realtime Quality Control Daily Regional Review QC Specialist Oversight Data reviewed and issues reported back to source for correction GAS QUALITY and ANALYSIS

DWL s Gas Quality and Analysis process can provide pre-well insights for new projects Using offset LAS gas data and logs, expected gas curve and ratio profiles can be provided Gas ratios will be used to Identify formation tops Identify changes in formation fluid Indicate porosity changes Pick out anomalous trends Provide correlation points while drilling GAS QUALITY and ANALYSIS

Using pre-well studies and realtime expertise, DWL s Wellsite Geologists and Gas Analysts will provide data that can be trusted; data that will increase geological certainty and be invaluable for future field and regional studies. Much of this data can be integrated into DWL s Geosteering programs for more accurate wellbore positioning and successful completions All of DWL s Wellsite Consulting Services aim to add value way beyond their cost GAS QUALITY and ANALYSIS

GEOCHEMISTRY Diversified Well Logging will provide consultants for cuttings geochemical interpretation Cuttings Geochemistry Pre-drill chemostratigraphic studies Elemental GR for depth tracking and sample QA/QC Post well analyses - modelled mineralogy, TOC, geomechanical properties, sedimentology, provenance and depositional environment Post well chemostratigraphic correlation and integration into geological models Wellsite and remote Chemosteering LECO TOC analyses

MASS SPECTROMETRY Diversified Well Logging will provide consultants for gas geochemical interpretation Mass Spectrometry Fluid compartment boundaries and fluid analysis High-confidence H2S identification and mitigation Depletion insight due to fault proximity or offset production Water saturation guidance Sweet spot identification GOR variability identification Porosity and permeability variability indicators Secondary permeability mapping Bit and motor wear or failure prediction

AUTOMATION Cuttings Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry are integrated in the Hybrid Mud Logging service Drilled cuttings are caught to provide a high data density for geochemical analysis Higher data density is obtained by deploying the Automated Remote Mudlogger (ARM ) Automated Remote Mudlogger Automated data collection and storage Reliable high data density up to one sample per minute Reduced geological uncertainty good GR correlation No operational disruption installing or running Simple installation close to shakers with small footprint Less personnel onsite reduced HSE risks Remote real-time access for sample observation Samples bar-coded and viewed under white and UV light.
