Gale and Storm Watches in effect for the coastal waters late Monday Night into Tuesday Evening Impacts Highest winds along the coast particularly Southeastern CT and Eastern Long Island. Strong to Damaging winds could bring down large limbs power lines with minor property damage.
Coastal Impacts Coastal Flood Watch in Effect for areas adjacent to Western Long Island Sound Tuesday with Advisories elsewhere Hazards and Impacts: Significant Beach Erosion Monday into Midweek due to prolonged high easterly swells with washovers during times of high tide Monday and Tuesday. Minor inundation (1 to 2 ft Above Ground Level) of low-lying and vulnerable shore roads and adjacent properties likely during high tides Monday and Tuesday morning/early afternoon.
