The Mean Green will host Oral Roberts in the first round at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Mean Green are 6-16 all-time against the Golden Eagles and last played in 2015. North Texas defeated ORU, 3-1, behind 13 kills and five blocks from then-sophomore Amanda Chamberlain. With a win, the Mean Green would face the winner of TCU and Wyoming, who face off at the North Texas Volleyball Center at 4 p.m. Thursday. The second round match would be played at 7 p.m. Friday in Denton. NORTH TEXAS' TOP STORYLINES, STREAKS & TRENDS Postseason History North Texas seeks the program s first postseason victory in just its second postseason appearance. The 1995 team earned the Southland Conference s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after winning the conference tournament. The Mean Green lost to USC in straight sets in the first round.
