RESEARCH EXPERIENCE Key Areas Electrocatalysis, Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials, Fuel Cell, Thin Film Fabrication and Characterization, Solar Cell, Polymer Nanocomposites 2012-2015 USTC - Softmatter Intelligent Manufacturing Group Hybrid nanostructured catalytic materials to be used as electrode materials in Fuel Cell. The work has been concerned with three different types of catalysts; Pd spherical and octahederal shaped nanoparticles deposited on GO, bimetallic Pd-Pt alloy on GO and ternary composite of MoS 2 nanosheets on GO-CNT composite. The electrocatalytic performance of the catalysts show higher activities towards methanol oxidation reaction (MOR), oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), methanol tolerant oxygen reduction reaction (MTORR) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). 2009 2012 NUST - School of Chemical & Materials Engineering (SCME) Synthesis, Characterization and Process Optimization of Mo, ZnO and Al;ZnO thin films using Plasma Magnetron Sputtering for Back Contact & Front Contact (TCO) applications in CIGS based thin films solar cells. 2007 2008 KUST - Department of Physics Fundamentals of Spintronics and its future applications PUBLICATIONS Refereed Journal Articles (SCI) 1.
