Instructions for the use of mobile curving machine on site Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH
1. Preliminary Remark The instructions for the use of the mobile curving machines constitute an integral part of this agreement, shall be binding upon both Parties and shall be firmly agreedat the same time the instructions regulate the demarcation of the services between the Customer and Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH. 2. Weight of the mobile roll forming machine Mobile curving machine RIB-ROOF Speed 500 / Evolution max. 5.000 kg Mobile curving machine RIB-ROOF 465 max. 9.500 kg Depending on the weight of road transportation the Customer shall make certain that the access road to the construction site and its subsoil are reinforced. If it cannot be guaranteed, the Customer shall be obliged to take appropriate measures and shall bear costs for all necessary relocations or similar. 3. additional space for intermediate storage of curved profiled sheets shall be provided in accordance with the size of a construction project in close proximity to the run-in and run-out of panels. 4. Staff requirements A machine operator required to operate the mobile curving machine is provided by Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH. The curving machine may only be operated by a machine operator being an employee of Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH. Unless otherwise determined in the written form in Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH - offer, the Customer shall defray all the expenses if auxiliary staff need to be provided for the receipt, lashing of packets, produced profiles storage as well as assembling and dismantling of the mobile machine. The required number of support employees shall depend on the length of the produced profiles (handling procedures) and the material to be processed. The following specifications are guide values, the final quantity is to be determined by a machine operator from Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH on site: o for aluminium profiles with the length exceeding 8 m: each 8 m / 1 assistant x 2 (exit/entrance) o for steel, zinc or copper profiles with the length exceeding 6 m: each 3 m / 1 assistant x 2 (exit/entrance) o for assembling and dismantling of the mobile machine: 2 assistants for each 5. Operating time The time required shall depend on the requirements of the production process and the scope of the contract and shall be determined by the machine operator in consultation with the responsible authorities. Normal working hours: Monday-Friday: 10 hours per day (incl. 1-hour break) Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 8 hour per day (incl. 1-hour break ) Work on Sundays shall be free of extra costs. In case of high time pressure, the customer and the supplier can agree on working on Sundays and public holidays against corresponding additional costs.
6. Services to be provided by the customer on site Suitable off-loading equipment for loading and unloading of the curving machine from and onto the transport vehicle. Provision of a sufficient quantity of squared timber or timber formwork planks which are to be placed under the manufactured or curved profiles (intermediate storage). Suitable lifting equipment and cross beams for the maximum profile length (maximum profile length minus approx. 2.5 m left and right) for lifting Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH profiles onto the roof. In accordance with the general safety regulations and the instructions of the machine operator the customer shall make certain that the production area is appropriately cordoned off, in particular the area of the profiles run-out. The disposal of the supplier's production waste or packaging material shall be borne by the supplier. Securing the supplier's machines, coils and accessories against theft and damage caused by the customer. 7. Intermediate storage Curved profiles are to be stored on squared timber or timber formwork planks on clean ground. It is significant to store the curved profiles lengthwise at a slight gradient. Concerning the intermediate storage of uncurved profiled sheets the customer shall take responsibility for the following: o storing the profiled sheets on a wooden base o storing the profiled sheets lengthwise at a slight downword gradient. 8. Transfer of risks The transfer of risks (from the manufacturer to the customer) for damaging the RIB-ROOF profiled sheets shall come into effect after the profile sheets leave the curving machine. For the time of intermediate storage of coil materials, from the delivery until the production end or collection of the remaining coil materials, the risk and liability lie with the customer. Profiles damaged during transportation or lifting onto the roof, which thus need to be produced again, must be paid for separately. The customer shall be obliged to check the quality and dimensions of the profiles immediately after the handover of the RIB-ROOF profiles; later complaints can no longer be filed. No claims can be filed after the profiled sheets have been lifted on the construction site or installed on the roof (e.g. scratches, deformations, surface damage, etc.). Reklamationen nach dem Verheben der Bahnen auf der Baustelle oder der Montage auf dem Dach können nicht mehr geltend gemacht werden (z.b. Kratzer, Verformungen, Oberflächenbeschädigungen usw.).
9. General remarks The customer shall be liable for all occurring accidents. The customer shall also be obliged to prepare the construction site in accordance with the local safety regulations and to appropriately instruct the machine operator and auxiliary personnel. The customer shall bear all costs therefor. The customer shall bear all the costs for delays which are not caused by the machine operator and shall be charged 450 /day. Should it be necessary to move the curving machine at the request of the customer or a third party, the customer shall be charged for the costs incurred. Our operating staff is not authorized to accept and implement changes to the contract. If required, these shall be agreed with Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG or with order processing office. For radii < 20 m, the conditions shall be agreed with Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH - order processing office. Curving of the profile sheets at temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius can lead to problems (e.g. material fracture). An assessment of the production area with regard to its suitability for onsite crowning shall be carried out by Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH together with the responsible authorities. A date shall be determined in advance and the costs incurred shall be invoiced. The free use of the available construction site facilities (laundries, changing rooms and WCs, telephone, fax and e-mail for the machine operator) shall be provided to Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH - workforce.
If production is interrupted due to bad weather conditions, Zambelli RIB- ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH - employees shall be allowed to leave the construction site after a three-hour waiting period and continue working the next day or under better weather conditions. The RIB-ROOF profiled sheets produced by Zambelli RIB-ROOF GmbH & Co. KG / Zambelli Dach + Fassadentechnik GmbH - employees are specified in a bill of materials with their length and width. A responsible representative of the customer shall be obliged to check the produced materials and confirm them with the signature.
