Tis class is determined by te solution of quadratic programming problem. Convergence results and some numerical examples are given.. Introduction Te construction of splines, verifying minimum conditions as been proposed among oters in [2], [5], [6]. In suc papers te splines are interpolating te approximated function in te nodes and wile in [5] te constructive metod can be applied, in teory, for a spline of an arbitrary degree m, minimizing te integral I [g (x)] 2 dx, in [2] e [6] a cubic polynomial interpolating splines are considered satisfying some minimum conditions. In particular, in [6], te considered splines ave been applied for constructing quadrature sums approximating te Caucy principal value integrals I(wf; t) = w(x) f(x) dx. CIMORONI In tis paper, exploiting te different form tat we use for defining te interpolating - derivative spline, we can obtain convergence results under weaker conditions on f, tat gives more flexibility in te applications, as for example, wen we consider te numerical evaluation of Caucy singular integrals [8]. In Section 2 we give te details of te construction of te interpolatingderivative spline. In Section 3 we give some convergence results. Finally, in Section 4, some numerical experiments on test functions f are reported. In Appendix we prove some propositions wose results are necessary for proving teorem 2.5 and proposition 2.7 in Section 2 and teorems 3.2, 3.3 in Section 3. 2.
