Adam Holley, (919)649-0273, page 2 Teaching Experience Cookeville, TN Physics I, PHYS2110 Fall 2014 First semester of an introductory two-semester, calculus-based curriculum designed for science and engineering majors. Physics I Laboratory, PHYS2111 Fall 2014 Physics II Laboratory, PHYS2121 Fall 2014 Indiana University Bloomington, IN Physics I, P221 (team-taught) Spring 2013 First semester of an introductory three-semester, calculus-based curriculum designed for science majors. In this class we utilized the smartphysics curriculum, which features an interactive online component and special emphasis on the development of problem-solving skills. We also made extensive use of a real-time feedback system in the classroom. Teaching Assistant 2003-2004 Taught both traditional laboratory sections as well as Matter and Interactions laboratory/review sections, a curriculum developed by faculty in the NCSU Physics Education department. Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School New York, NY Physics Instructor 1995-2003 Designed and implemented a complete high school physics curriculum, which included three levels of instruction (algebra based, elementary calculus based, and advanced calculus based). Developed a two-semester sequence of elective hands-on electronics courses. Collaborated in the development and implementation of a three-year (sophomore through senior) research course giving students the opportunity to perform original research with active scientists in a chosen field. Awards and Honors 24 th Louis Rosen Prize for the most outstanding thesis based on experimental or theoretical research performed at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center 2013 Inducted Phi Beta Kappa, junior year 1991
