2 ND ANNOUNCEMENT DEAR COLLEAGUES! we would like to invite you to participate in III International scientific and practical conference «The natural environment of Antarctica: ecological problems and nature protection» The conference will take place FROM 17 TO 19 SEPTEMBER 2018 on the premises of the Training Center of the Republic of Belarus National Bank, Raubichi township (Minsk region, Belarus) Working languages of the Conference English, Russian, Belarusian. The main topics of the Conference are as follows: Ecological problems and protection of Antarctic natural environment. Study of Antarctic biota; modern methods and approaches. Medical and biological studies and problems of prevention of the polar settlement territories. Climatic, meteorological and aerospace researches in Antarctica. Geological, geophysical, glaciological and paleogeographic researches in Antarctica. Development of the instrumentation base for scientific researches in Antarctica Antarctic logistics, infrastructure, safety Legal aspects of activities in the Antarctic Treaty System. Promoting the international scientific cooperation in the Antarctic. The forms of participation in the conference: Oral presentation at the plenary session (up to 20 min) Oral presentation at the section (up to 10 min) Poster presentation Distance participation Key dates: Registration by July 1, 2018 Article submitting by August 1, 2018 Payment of registration fee by September 1, 2018

Article guidelines: The entire volume of article is up to 7 pages (including tables, figures and bibliography). Page margins: top, bottom and right 2 cm, left 3 cm. Font Times New Roman, 14 ppt; 1,0 spaced. The paragraph indentation is 1.25 sm. The title should be printed in capital letters in the center of the line, below in one line the initials and surnames of the authors are printed, below the organization, the city and e-mail. References to the literature to be given in square brackets in the text. The bibliography should be sorted in alphabetical order. Tables and illustrations should correspond to the width of the main text. Tables should be simple and formatted with standard Word tools. The number of illustrations is no more than 4. The template of the article formatting is attached on the conference website. Submitted articles will be published in Conference Proceedings. The authors are responsible for the materials provided for the conference. Organizing and Scientific Committees reserve the right to specify the type of presentation (plenary lecture, oral report, poster presentation), to reject article, which do not meet the conference thematic, formal criteria or deadline. THE REGISTRATION FEE IS 20 USD The registration fee covers the expenses for the publication of the Conference Proceedings, the package of the conference participant, transfer from Minsk to the venue, coffee breaks. Each publication in the conference proceedings should be paid separately. The expenses for travel and accommodation are paid by the participants of the conference independently or by the organizations that send them.
