Renewable Energy : Solar Subject experts provide criteria for GIS analysis to determine area with the highest Photovoltaic (PV) capacity potential PV generation capacity by municipal district PV yield of a Silicon PV panel. The resolution of this layer is 1 x 1 km and is based on 12 years of solar and temperature data. The modelling was done based on 15 minute time steps. Typical fixed tilt PV installation 35

In general a wind class 4 (dark green 475-600 W/m 2 ) and up is economically exploitable.
