ANALYTICAL REPORT Job Number: 640-4848-1 Job Description: Transform Complete For: American Master*Tech Scientific, Inc. 1330 Thurman Street PO BOX 2539 Lodi, CA 95240 Attention: Mr. Adam Kowalczyk Chad Bechtold Project Manager I cbechtold@stl-inc.com 01/26/2006 These test results meet all the requirements of NELAC. All questions regarding this test report should be directed to the STL Project Manager who signed this test report. Measurement uncertainty data, as referenced in Section 8.6 of the STL Tallahassee LQM, are available upon request. Severn Trent Laboratories, Inc. CASE NARRATIVE STL Log No(s): 640-4848-1 Client Project ID: Transform Complete I. RECEIPT The samples were received at 15.6 degrees Celsius with no ice or water present in the cooler. Per the client, the laboratory proceeded with the analysis. II. HOLDING TIMES The Transform Complete sample vials for method 8260B were determined to have a ph of 7 even though the vials were HCl preserved. The sample was analyzed for method 8260B two days outside a shortened 7 day holding time imposed for samples with a ph greater than 2. III. PREPARATION Sample preparation proceeded normally. IV. ANALYSIS A. Calibration: All acceptance criteria were met. B. Blanks: The method blank for formaldehyde had a hit at 62 ug/l. This is due to the extremely high concentration of formaldehyde in the 10 % Formalin Solution sample. All other acceptance criteria were met. C. Spikes: The Laboratory Control Standard (LCS) for formaldehyde was biased high. The formaldehyde LCSD met acceptance criteria. Several compounds were biased high for the method 8260B LCS/LCSD. These compounds have been qualified with an *. No hits were detected in the sample for the compounds with high bias. D. Surrogates: All acceptance criteria were met. E. Samples: No analytical problems were encountered. Page 2 of 17
