11 Mission Overview

12 Mission Schedule Day 0 The Braun XII Spacecraft (the Dragon V2 and B330) will use the rocket attached to the B330 to leave Low Earth Orbit and set course along its trajectory. Days 1-7 Both crewmembers will confirm with mission control and each other that all equipment is functioning. Days Crewmembers will conduct required daily activities, research, and spacecraft equipment/trajectory checkups. Days Crewmembers are preparing vigorously for the witnessing of the Mars Flyby.

13 Mission Schedule Day 608 Mars Flyby on October 28, 2022 at a relative speed of km/s. The astronauts will be approaching Mars at an altitude of approximately 77.3 Megameters (22.8 Mars radii). Days Crewmembers will resume conducting required daily activities, scientific research, and spacecraft equipment/trajectory checkups. Days Crewmembers will prepare for Earth reentry. Day 720 Earth Re-entry will be on February 17, 2023.

14 Prior to Launch SpaceX Falcon Rockets and Dragon V2 will be transported from Hawthorne, CA. Bigelow B330 module will be transported from Las Vegas, NV. All cargo will be directed to separate hangers for assembly at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

15 Departure February 20 th, 2021 Falcon Heavy delivers the B330 into LEO. February 23 rd, 2021 Falcon 9 delivers astronauts in Dragon V2 to join B330 in LEO.

16 February 24 th, 2021 The Dragon V2 docks with the B330 in LEO. Assembly

17 Trans-Mars Injection February 27 th, 2021 Braun XII ignites remaining Falcon Heavy engines to head off to Mars.

18 Braun XII Spacecraft

19 Flyby October 28 th, 2022 Braun XII flies around Mars at km/s.

20 February 17 th, 2023 Braun XII disassembles as it nears the atmosphere. The Dragon capsule attempts reentry. Re-entry
