Mitarbeiterin) in the group of Prof. Klaus Hulek at Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany). Habilitation in Mathematics received on 17/7/2012. Italian Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale (scientific sector 01/A2 - II fascia) obtained in the 2012 session. 2 Research Research interests: Algebraic geometry. Cohomology of moduli spaces, especially of curves of low genus and principally polarized abelian varieties. Study of algebraic varieties covered by linear spaces. Research visits: - July 11th 23rd, 2011: invited researcher in the IAS/Park City Mathematics Institute (PCMI) Summer Session (Park City, Utah) on the theme Moduli Spaces of Riemann Surfaces, organised by B. Farb, R. Hain and E. Looijenga. - January 25th March 28th 2009: Research Member at the Mathematical Science Research Institute (Berkeley, USA), in the program on Algebraic Geometry. - March 2007: Junior Visitor at the Mathematical Physics Department of Sissa (Trieste), to work with Prof. Barbara Fantechi. - April 2005: visited Prof. Ezra Getzler at Northwestern University. Dec June The Ph.D. thesis Geometry of discriminants and cohomology of moduli spaces won the 2006 Federigo Enriques prize for the best doctoral dissertation on subjects connected to Federigo Enriques s mathematical thought. - Frye Stipendium 2004 of Radboud University Nijmegen, travel grant used to visit Prof. Getzler (Northwestern University, Evanston IL, USA) in April 2005 and to attend the AMS Summer Research Institute in Algebraic Geometry (Seattle WA, USA, July 25 August 12, 2005). - The Laurea thesis Sulle varietà con applicazione di Gauss degenere won in 2002 the Marco Reni award for the best Laurea thesis in Mathematics at the University of Trieste, Organization of conferences: - Workshop Moduli of curves in Gothenburg, Gothenburg, October 13 16, (Together with Nicola Pagani, Liverpool, UK). - Co-organizer of the international conferences GAEL XI (April 2003) and GAEL XII (April 2004) for young researchers in Algebraic Geometry. 2
