3 Introduction This book provides details on which Communication Manager specific values are configured by the MBT Installation Wizard during the installation process. WARNING: The country specific values configured by the installation wizard are based upon those that have typically been used, in similar installations, in those countries in the past. Due to the many different ways in which systems may be configured, even within the same country, it is the responsibility of the installation technician to verify that all parameters are consistent with those required by local or national laws before the system enters service. This is particularly important for emergency service numbers.

4 A.1 Configuring CDR System Parameters The CDR format administered on Communication Manager needs to adhere to a specific format as shown in the next screen. The CDR Tools on the Utility Server then is able to successfully process the CDR data. The elements in bold in the screen refer to nondefault values.
