25 Commercial and Municipal-Owned Sites Clean Earth North Jersey Facility Located within Segment 1 (RM 2.4), this existing hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste facility could be used to either directly accept limited volumes of dredged material or to support a newly developed sediment processing facility. Clean Earth Koppers Facility Located along the Hackensack River, this existing facility specializes in the management of non-hazardous dredged sediment and could be used to either directly accept dredged material or be developed by utilizing the existing facility infrastructure (to the extent practical) and constructing a sediment processing facility on any potentially available undeveloped portions of the site. Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC) Facility Commercial/Governmental property located within Segment 1 (RM 0.3) with sufficient space available to host a sediment processing facility. Potentially existing sewerage and water treatment operations could be modified or incorporated into sediment treatment facility operations. Municipal-Owned Sites Properties within Locales 1 and 3 will be considered for use as support sites; GSH is currently utilizing a property owned by the Town of Harrison at RM 5.4 as a river access point for pre-design investigation field operations.
