Laboratory of mineralogy, petrology and mineral resources Department, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering 5. Geotechnical laboratory, Faculty of Civil Engineering Enrollment: Five students were enrolled as regular students at the University of Zagreb. Four of them were enrolled also at the Graz University of Technology. Student Vedran Cagalj will enroll at the Graz University of Technology after passing differential exams and after defining his proposal of the doctoral thesis and supervisor. Lectures: Before the start of lectures at the Winter School, prof. Ivsic and prof. Ranko Biondic welcomed the students and presented them JDP and Winter School. Geo-Engineering part of the JDP was held during 4 weeks of lectures, while Watermanagement part was held during 3 weeks because of a small number of students who listened to these lectures (prof. Ocvirk, assistant professor, had 2 days of lectures, and prof. Zojer another 2 days). The field trips and laboratory works had been organized for all students according to above schedule. Exams: Students had several exams up to now: Hydrogeology (February 25, 2013) Water Management (February 15, 2013) Advanced Soil Mechanics (students will come in agreement with prof. Ivsic and prof. Zlender) Questionnaires were received only for the first 2 weeks of lectures (and were sent to the professors involved), after that the students didn t send any questionnaire although they have received it.
