6 Timmins Opportunity Highlights The Timmins Camp, discovered in 1909, is one of the world s largest gold camps hosting 5 giant gold systems and numerous base metal and nickel deposits; including the giant Kidd Creek Mine 75 M Au ounces produced to date +25 M Au ounces in defined resources yet to be mined with significant exploration potential. The Timmins Camp has 2 parallel gold systems north of the PDFZ. CTEC is attempting to locate the western extensions of both the Dome and Hollinger gold systems Compelling historic work complimented by new approach to and understanding of the Timmins Camp Age dating of Timmins Camp sedimentary and volcanic rocks has confirmed the overall geology of the camp Technology improvements plus recent government mapping have helped with the new interpretation model Recently completed MMI geochemistry surveying has been able to map bedrock through 25m of glacial overburden Exploration in Timmins has been concentrated in the immediate area of the historical gold mine properties with almost no holes on CTEC ground The Timmins gold orebodies are found in all rock types but common factors are carbonate and silica alteration, porphyries and splay faults that go through the PDFZ CTEC is using historical drill data, airborne and ground geophysical surveys overlain by anomalous MMI geochemistry to locate gold or base metal alteration systems in previously underexplored areas Exploration in Timmins is complicated by deep overburden and the infrastructure of the City of Timmins and surrounding farms However, most major new mines are found close to existing mines! 6

16 Mountjoy Project - Reinterpreted Geology Mountjoy Township just west of the Hollinger mine is government mapped as unmineralized sedimentary rock In the 1980s Kerr Addison drilled 81 RCD holes plus 12 diamond drill holes; intersected 2 trains of Au Cu glacial till anomalies plus porphyries and volcanic rock in the sediments CTEC reinterpreted all the drill data, and now believes that Mountjoy has similar geology to Tisdale Township CTEC MMI programs have identified additional new porphyries plus anomalous Au and Cu indicator minerals CTEC has identified 15 drill targets in Mountjoy that will further clarify the geology and aim to identify a gold horizon north of the PDFZ Hollinger 16
