3 I. PROJECT NARRATIVE
4 Project Narrative Existing Conditions: The project is located at 4615 S. Tamiami Trail, 2007 Fiesta Dr. and 2014 Sandrala Dr. within Sarasota County. The existing use of the site is vacant commercial. The total site consists of 0.85 acres. Proposed Conditions: The current application is being submitted to develop the parcel into a car wash with associated paving, grading, drainage and utilities. Stormwater Design: The stormwater design includes the use of an underground vault system for treatment and attenuation of the site. Drainage inlets connected by pipes are proposed to convey the runoff from the site to the underground stormwater system. The site will discharge to a bubbler box located at the southwest corner of the property. Modret calculations were done to confirm that the system draws down and recovers in less than 72 hours. The Sarasota County soil survey was used to set the SHGW and confirm the bottom of the system is a minimum of 1 above the SHGW elevation. The permeability rates from the soil survey were used for the vertical and horizontal permeability calculations.

The maps do not show the small areas of contrasting soils that could have been shown at a more detailed scale. Please rely on the bar scale on each map sheet for map measurements. Source of Map: Natural Resources Conservation Service Web Soil Survey URL: Coordinate System: Web Mercator (EPSG:3857) Maps from the Web Soil Survey are based on the Web Mercator projection, which preserves direction and shape but distorts distance and area. A projection that preserves area, such as the Albers equal-area conic projection, should be used if more accurate calculations of distance or area are required. This product is generated from the USDA-NRCS certified data as of the version date(s) listed below.
