6 APPLICATION PROCEDURE TEMPERATURE Apply when the ambient temperature is above + 5 C DEMAGED CONCRETE: QUICK DRYING REPAIR MORTAR Remove the damaged or contaminated concrete (oil, grease, demoulding agents or other substances) and then repair using MasterSeal Comp. D mixed with water only. NOT DAMAGED CONCRETE The surface must be prepared by sandblasting or mechanical grinding. JOINTS Cracks control joints and construction joints must be sealed with MasterSeal NP 474, MasterSeal CR 462 o MasterSeal 930 joint sealants (please get in touch with BASF Tech service for the best choice for each specific case). SATURATION OF THE SUBSTRATE Before proceeding with the application of MasterSeal P 385, wet the absorbent surfaces with water, then remove any excess water with rags or air jets. Surface condition must be saturated with dry surface. MasterSeal P 385 Comp. D + water: APPLICATION Add to MasterSeal P 385 Comp. D, the mixing water indicated in the table. Mix to stir at low speed ( rpm / min) until the mixture is smooth. Application of Stir component A, then add component B into component A homogenizing well with a low speed mechanical mixer. In the primer coat add to the mix a quantity of water not exceeding 25%. The product can be applied by roller or spray and even a spatula if it is filled with MasterTop F1 in a ratio of 1 / 1.8 (refer to tables System Build Up on the front page).
