Determine the domain, range, and zeros of a function. Determine the graph based on a function and vice versa. Transform graphs. Identify the symmetry of a graph. (odd vs. even) Compose and decompose a function. Determine and graph the inverse of an algebraic function. Use properties of exponents in the context of manipulating functions. Determine the degree, the zeros, the end behavior, and general shapes of graphs of a polynomial function. Determine the degree, the zeros, the end behavior, and graphs of a rational function. Apply the properties of exponents to rational exponents. Write log or exponential functions as their inverse. Manipulate logarithm expressions using algebraic properties. Solve logarithmic equations. Solve exponential equations. Graph exponential functions with transformations. Graph logarithmic functions with transformations. Model problems using exponential and logarthmic functions. Evaluate the six trig functions at the major points on the unit circle. Convert degrees to radians and vice versa. Identify the domain and range of all trig functions. Graph all trig functions. Transform the graphs of all six trig functions. Solve right triangles. Be able to use inverse trig functions. Identify solutions to equations containing trig functions. Compute areas of polygons with trig functions. Compute angles and side lengths using law of sines and law of cosines. Use relationships between trig functions to manipulate expressions to prove equality. Convert between rectangular and polar coordinates. (if time allows) Graph in the polar coordinate system.
