4 Roof Layout Location... The thermal image survey was conducted on The purpose of the survey was to determine if the asphalt flat roof of the complex had been damged from a recent fire and now allowing water to enter into the flat below. The whole roof was covered during the survey and it can be seen from the images within the following report that there is moisture lying beneath the asphalt surface and it is possible that the insulation has also been damaged. Further investigation is required in this area. Yellow red and white areas within the report show the extent of water and moisture lying beneath the asphalt surface.
