SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS DEFINED BY SĂLĂGEAN TYPE DIFFERENCE OPERATOR G. MURUGUSUNDARAMOORTHY, AND K. VIJAYA 2, arxiv: v [math.cv] 30 Sep 207 Corresponding Author,2 School of Advanced Sciences, VIT University, Vellore , India. gmsmoorthy@yahoo.com,kvijaya@vit.ac.in, Abstract. In this paper, we introduce investigate a new subclass of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions defined in the open unit disk, which are associated with the Sălăgean type difference operator satisfy some subordination conditions. Furthermore, we find estimates on the Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients a 2 a 3 for functions in the new subclass introduced here. Several (known or new) conseuences of the results are also pointed out. Further we obtain Fekete-Szegö ineuality for the new function class. 200 Mathematics Subject Classification: 30C45,30C50,30C80 Keywords Phrases: Univalent, bi-univalent, starlike convex functions, coefficient bounds,fekete-szegö ineuality.. Introduction Let A denote the class of analytic functions of the form f(z) = z + a n z n (.) normalized by the conditions f(0) = 0 = f (0) defined in the open unit disk n=2 = {z C : z < }. Let S bethe subclass ofaconsisting offunctions oftheform(.) which arealsounivalent in. Let S (α) K(α) denote the subclasses of S, consisting of starlike convex functions of order α, 0 α <, respectively. An analytic function f is subordinate to an analytic function g, written f(z) g(z), provided there is an analytic function w defined on with w(0) = 0 w(z) < satisfying f(z) = g(w(z)). Ma Minda [] unified various subclasses of starlike convex functions for which either of the uantities z f (z) f(z) or + z f (z) f (z) is subordinate to a more general superordinate function. For this purpose, they considered an analytic function ϕ with positive real part in the unit disk, ϕ(0) =, ϕ (0) > 0 ϕ maps onto a region starlike with respect to symmetric with respect to the * Corresponding author, gmsmoorthy@yahoo.com.
SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS... 2 real axis. In the seuel, it is assumed that such a function has a series expansion of the form φ(z) = +B z +B 2 z 2 +B 3 z 3 +, (B > 0). (.2) In particular for the class of strongly starlike functions of order α(0 < α ), the function φ is given by ( ) α +z φ(z) = = +2αz +2α 2 z 2 + (0 < α ), (.3) z which gives B = 2α B 2 = 2α 2 on the other h, for the class of starlike functions of order β(0 β < ), φ(z) = +( 2β)z = +2( β)z +2( β)z 2 + (0 β < ), (.4) z we haveb = B 2 = 2( β). The Koebe one uarter theorem [5] ensures that the image of under every univalent function f A contains a disk of radius. Thus every univalent function f has an inverse 4 f satisfying f (f(z)) = z, (z ) f(f (w)) = w ( w < r 0 (f), r 0 (f) ). A 4 function f A is said to be bi-univalent in if both f f are univalent in. Let Σ denote the class of bi-univalent functions defined in the unit disk. Since f Σ has the Maclaurian series given by (.), a computation shows that its inverse g = f has the expansion g(w) = f (w) = w a 2 w 2 +(2a 2 2 a 3)w 3 +. (.5) Several authors have introduced investigated subclasses of bi-univalent functions obtained bounds for the initial coefficients (see [2, 3, 6, 0, 8, 6, 9, 2]). Quantum calculus is ordinary classical calculus without the notion of limits.it defines -calculus h-calculus. Here h ostensibly sts for Plancks constant, while sts for uantum. Recently, the area of -calculus has attracted the serious attention of researchers. This great interest is due to its application in various branches of mathematics physics.the application of -calculus was initiated by Jackson[9]. He was the first to develop -integral -derivative in a systematic way. Later, geometrical interpretation of -analysis has been recognized through studies on uantum groups. It also suggests a relation between integrable systems -analysis.a comprehensive study on applications of -calculus in operator theory may be found in[]. For the convenience, we provide some basic definitions concept details of -calculus which are used in this paper. For 0 < < the Jackson s -derivative of a function f A is, by definition, given as follows [9] f(z) f(z) for z 0, D f(z) = ( )z (.6) f (0) for z = 0, D 2 f(z) = D (D f(z)). From (.6), we have D f(z) = + [n] a n z n (.7) where n=2 [n] = n, (.8)
SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS... 3 is sometimes called the basic number n. If,[n] n.for a function h(z) = z n, we obtain D h(z) = D z n = n zn = [n]z n, lim D h(z) = lim ([n]z n ) = nz n = h (z), where h is the ordinary derivative. Recently for f A, Govindaraj Sivasubramanian [7] defined discussed the Sălăgean -differential operator as given below: We note that lim D 0 f(z) = f(z) D f(z) = zd f(z) D k f(z) = zdk (Dk f(z)) D k f(z) = z + [n] k a nz n (k N 0,z ) (.9) D k f(z) = z + n=2 n k a n z n (k N 0,z ) (.0) n=2 the familiar Sălăgean derivative[5]. In this paper, making use of the Sălăgean -differential operator, for functions g of the form (.5) we define D k g(w) = w a 2 [2] k w2 +(2a 2 2 a 3)[3] k w3 + (.) introduce two new subclass of bi-univalent functions to obtain the estimates on the coefficients a 2 a 3 byma-mindasubordination.furtherbyusingtheinitialcoefficient values of a 2 a 3 we also obtain Fekete-Szegö ineualities. 2. Bi-Univalent function class MΣ k (λ,φ) In this section, due to Vijaya et al [8],we introduce a subclass MΣ k (λ,φ) of Σ find estimate on the coefficients a 2 a 3 for the functions in this new subclass, by subordination. Throughout our study, unless otherwise stated, we let 0 λ ; 0 < < ; k N 0 Definition 2.. For 0 λ, a function f Σ of the form (.) is said to be in the class MΣ k (λ,φ) if the following subordination hold: ( λ) Dk+ f(z) D k f(z) +λ Dk+2 f(z) D k+ f(z) ( λ) Dk+ g(w) +λdk+2 g(w) D k g(w) D k+ g(w) where z,w g is given by (.5). φ(z) (2.) φ(w), (2.2) Remark 2.2. Suppose f Σ. If λ = 0, then MΣ k (λ,φ) SΣ k (φ) : thus f SΣ k (φ) if the following subordination holds: D k+ f(z) D k f(z) φ(z) where z,w g is given by (.5). D k+ g(w) D k g(w) φ(w),
SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS... 4 Remark 2.3. Suppose f Σ. If λ =, then MΣ k (λ,φ) KΣ k (φ) : thus f KΣ k (φ) if the following subordination holds: D k+2 f(z) D k+ f(z) where z,w g is given by (.5). Dk+2 g(w) φ(z) D k+ g(w) φ(w), Remark 2.4. For 0 λ k = 0 a function f Σ of the form (.) is said to be in the class MΣ k (λ,φ) if the following subordination hold: ( λ) zd f(z) f(z) +λ D (zd f(z) D f(z)) φ(z) (2.3) ( λ) zd g(w) +λ D (wd g(w) φ(w), (2.4) g(w) D g(w)) where z,w g is given by (.5). It is of interest to note that MΣ 0 (0,φ) = SΣ (φ), MΣ 0 (,φ) = KΣ (φ) new subclasses of Σ associated with difference operator not yet discussed sofar. In order to prove our main results, we reuire the following Lemma: Lemma 2.5. [3] If a function p P is given by then p(z) = +p z +p 2 z 2 + p i 2 (i N), (z ), where P is the family of all functions p, analytic in, for which p(0) = R ( p(z) ) > 0 (z ). Theorem 2.6. Let f MΣ k (λ,φ) g = f. Then there are analytic functions u,v :, with u(0) = 0 = v(0), satisfying ( λ) Dk+ f(z) D k f(z) +λ Dk+2 f(z) D k+ f(z) ( λ) Dk+ g(w) D k g(w) +λ Dk+2 g(w) D k+ g(w) = φ(u(z)) (2.7) = φ(v(w)). (2.8)

(2.8) From (2.4), (2.6) (2.8), we obtain a 2 2 = B 3 (p ) 4[{2(+2λ)[3] k (+3λ)[2] k }B 2 +(+λ) 2 (B B 2 )[2] 2k ]. (2.9) Applying Lemma 2.5 to the coefficients p 2 2, we have a 2 B B {2(+2λ)[3] k (+3λ)[2] 2k }B 2 +(+λ) 2 (B B 2 )[2] 2k By subtracting (2.6) from (2.4) using (2.7) (2.8), we get (2.20) a 3 = B2 (p2 +2 ) + B (p 2 2 ). If f MΣ k (λ, ( +z α) z) then, we have the following estimates for the coefficients a 2 a 3 : 2α a 2 {2(+2λ)[3] k (+3λ)[2] 2k }α+( α)(+λ) 2 [2] 2k For functions f MΣ k estimates a 3 (λ, +( 2β)z z 4α 2 (+λ) 2 [2] 2k α +. From Remark 2.4, Theorem 2.6 yields the following corollary.
SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS... 7 Corollary 2.9. Let f given by (.) be in the class MΣ (λ,φ). Then a 2 B B (2(+2λ)[3] (+3λ)[2] )B 2 +(+λ)2 (B B 2 )[2] (2.23) ( ) 2 B B a 3 + (2.24) 2(+2λ)[3] (+λ)[2] In the following section due to Frasin Aouf [4] Panigarhi Murugusundaramoorthy [4] we define the following new subclass involving the Sălăgean operator [5]. 3. Bi-Univalent function class FΣ k (µ,φ) Definition 3.. For 0 µ, a function f Σ of the form (.) is said to be in the class FΣ k (µ,φ) if the following subordination hold: ( µ) Dk f(z) z +µ(d k f(z)) φ(z) (3.) ( µ) Dk g(w) +µ(d k w g(w)) φ(w) (3.2) where z,w, g is given by (.5) D k f(z) is given by (.9). Remark 3.2. Suppose f(z) Σ. If µ = 0, then FΣ k (0,φ) HΣ k (φ) : thus, f HΣ k (φ) if the following subordination holds: D k f(z) φ(z) Dk g(w) φ(w) z w where z,w g is given by (.5). Remark 3.3. Suppose f(z) Σ. If µ =, then FΣ k (,φ) PΣk (φ) : thus, f PΣk (φ) if the following subordination holds: where z,w g is given by (.5). (D k f(z)) φ(z) (D k g(w)) φ(w) It is of interest to note that FΣ 0 (µ,φ) = FΣ (µ,φ) if the following subordination hold: ( µ) f(z) z +µ(d f(z)) φ(z) (3.3) ( µ) g(w) w +µ(d g(w)) φ(w) (3.4) where z,w, g is given by (.5) D k f(z) is given by (.9). 8 SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS... 8 a 3 B ( B (+µ) 2 [2] 2k + (+2µ)[3] k ). (3.6) Proof. Proceeding as in the proof of Theorem 2.6 we can arrive the following relations. (+µ)[2] k a 2 = 2 B p (3.7) (+2µ)[3] k a 3 = 2 B (p 2 p2 2 )+ 4 B 2p 2 (3.8) (+µ)[2] k a 2 = 2 B (3.9) 2(+2µ)[3] k a2 2 (+2µ)[3]k a 3 = 2 B ( )+ 4 B 2 2. (3.0) From (3.7) (3.9) it follows that p = (3.) 8(+µ) 2 [2] 2k a2 2 = B2 (p2 +2 ). (3.2) From (3.8), (3.0) (3.2), we obtain a 2 2 = B 3 (p ) 4[(+2µ)[3] k B2 +(B B 2 )(+µ) 2 [2] 2k ]. Applying Lemma 2.5 to the coefficients p 2 2, we immediately get thedesired estimate on a 2 as asserted in (3.5). By subtracting (3.0) from (3.8) using (3.) (3.2), we get a 3 = B2 (p2 +2 ) 8(+µ) 2 [2] 2k + B (p 2 2 ). 4(+2µ)[3] k Applying Lemma 2.5 to the coefficients p,p 2, 2, we get the desired estimate on a 3 as asserted in (3.6). Remark 3.5. Conseuently, when µ = 0µ=bytaking φasin(.3)(.4)one can deduce the estimates for the classes HΣ (α),hσ (β) easily. We note that, for k = 0 lim these estimates coincides with the results stated in [4, 6, 6]. 4. Fekete-Szegö ineualities Making use of the values of a 2 2 a 3, motivated by the recent work of Zaprawa [23] we prove the following Fekete-Szegö result. Theorem 4.. Let the function f(z) MΣ k (λ,φ) τ C, then B, 0 Θ(τ) <, a 3 τa 2 2(+2λ)[3] k 8(+2λ)[3] k 2 4B Θ(τ), Θ(τ), 8(+2λ)[3] k (4.)
SUBCLASSES OF BI-UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS... 9 Proof. From (2.2) we have a 3 = a B (p 2 2 ). Using (2.9), 8(+2λ)[3] k a 3 τa 2 2 = B (p 2 2 ) 8(+2λ)[3] k ( +( τ) by simple calculation we get +( τ)a 2 2 = B (p 2 2 ) 8(+2λ)[3] k B 3 (p ) 4[{2(+2λ)[3] k (+3λ)[2]k }B2 +(+λ)2 (B B 2 )[2] 2k ] a 3 τa 2 2 = B [(Θ(τ)+ 8(+2λ)[3] k where Θ(τ) = ) ( p 2 + Θ(τ) 8(+2λ)[3] k B 2 ( τ) 4[{2(+2λ)[3] k (+3λ)[2]k }B2 +(+λ) 2 (B B 2 )[2] 2k ]. Since all B j are real B > 0, we have ( ) a 3 τa 2 2 2B Θ(τ)+ + 8(+2λ)[3] k which completes the proof. ( Θ(τ) 8(+2λ)[3] k ), ) ) 2 ], Proceeding as in above theorem one can easily prove the following result for f(z) (µ,φ) hence we state the following without proof. FΣ k Theorem 4.2. Let the function f(z) FΣ k (µ,φ) τ C, then ( ) ( a 3 τa 2 2 2B Φ(τ)+ + Φ(τ) 4(+2µ)[3] k 4(+2µ)[3] ) k where Φ(τ) = B 2 ( τ) 4[(+2µ)[3] k B2 +(B B 2 )(+µ) 2 [2] 2k ]. Concluding Remarks: Taking λ = 0 ( ) in Theorem 4., we can state the Fekete-Szegö ineuality for the function class SΣ k (φ).( KΣ k (φ) respectively. Putting µ = 0 ( ) in Theorem 4.2, we can state the Fekete-Szegö ineuality for the function class HΣ k (φ).( PΣk (φ) respectively. Future Work: Making use of the values of a 2 a 3, finding a 4 we can caluculate Hankel determinant coefficient for the function classes. References [] A. Aral, V. Gupta R. P.
