Shortstop Danny Garcia with a 3-for-3 performance lead the way for Philadelphia as they busted out for fifteen runs on ten hits. Sean Murphy pitched five strong innings spreading out three runs on four hits against the Anaheim squad. Vincent Hungerford, Ernesto Cabral, and Robby McGuire all had RBIs for Anaheim as they finished the tournament 0-4. Philadelphia now awaits the winner of the St. Petersburg-Chicago game. They will play at 1:30 PM on the showcase diamond to determine who is heading to the championship game Monday afternoon at Anaheim Stadium.

Game: RBI26 Los Angeles kept the hot bats going early Sunday morning against the Indianapolis Seniors. LeCurtis Mayes had the game of the tournament pulling up just a single short of the cycle, that only happened because the game ended before he could get his fourth at-bat. Mayes in three at-bats doubled, tripled, and hit a grand slam to push his team to a 13-1 victory. Cesar Martinez pitched five strong for Los Angeles giving up one run on three hits. The tournament comes to an end for Indianapolis, Zack Brown stuck it out for five innings on the mound. RBI Baseball would like to thank the Indianapolis Seniors for their participation in this years RBI World Series. For Los Angeles they await the winner of the Memphis-Santo Domingo game, they will play at 1:30 PM.

The Los Angeles Senior squad pulled off an impressive run of four wins in a row to make it back to the Championship game. It was a 5-2 win over Memphis in today s final game that sent Los Angeles to Anaheim Monday afternoon. Jesus Campos for LA pitched seven strong innings allowing two runs on four hits and helped himself out by going 2-for-4 with two RBI. Los Angeles and Philadelphis face-off at 12:30 PM Monday afternoon at Anaheim stadium to decide who will be the 2006 RBI World Series Champ.

In Anaheim s last game of the tournament they received 4.2 innings of good pitching from Sean Hale. Pawtucket will play at 1:30 for a chance to go to the Championship game Monday morning.

Chircago and St. Petersburg sent their top guns to the rubber to duel it out and St. Petersburg just sneaked away with a victory. Donald Albro for St. Petersburg and Chicago s Carnell Blackmon dueled for 5 innings before St. Petersburg broke out with three runs in the top of the sixth to pull away 5-1. Blackmon in six innings allowed 4 earned runs on five hits, three of those coming in the sixth inning. Donald Albro was on fire from the beginning as he struck out five batters in two innings, finishing the game with ten strikeouts. Victor Pagan of St. Petersburg lead the way with two hits as they now advance to play Philadelphia at 1:30 PM to decide who will play the winner of the Los Angeles-Memphis game in the championship.

Game: RBI29 Philadelphia did not need any magic to beat St. Petersburg this afternoon all they needed were their bats. Philly knocked out thirteen runs on twelve hits to beat St. Petersburg 13-9 on their road to the Championship game Monday afternoon in Anaheim. After pitching their way to victory against a strong Chicago team, St. Petersburg could not muster enough offense to keep up with the slugging Phillies. Matt Howard had three hits and Danny Garcia added three RBI to help Philadelphia to victory. St. Petersburgs Shawn Griffith had a strong performance out of the pen throwing 5 2/3 inning allowing only two earned runs. St. Petersburg finished the World Series tournament with a 3-2 record. Philadelphia will make their way to Anaheim Stadium to face off with host Los Angeles in the Senior Championship game Monday afternoon at 12:30 PM.

Santo Domingo and Memphis starting pitchers both pitched complete games with Memphis coming out on top 3-1. Tori Evans for Memphis allowed only one earned run on two hits in his appearance barely out-dueling with counterpart Castillo of Santo Domingo, who gave up just three earned runs on two hits. After an extremely offensively determined tournament the Urban Youth Academy finally saw some stellar pitching. For Santo Domingo they finish this years World Series with a record of 2-2, the Memphis team will now play Los Angeles in a game to determine who will play in the Championship game Monday afternoon in Anaheim.
