We considered the energy dependence of the parameters of the sallisfactorized statistics, which is now widely used for the description of the experimental transverse momentum distributions of hadrons, and the sallis statistics for the charged pions produced in pp collisions at high energies. We found that the results of the sallisfactorized statistics deviate from the results of the sallis statistics only at low NA6/SHINE energies when the value of the entropic parameter is close to unity. At higher energies, when the value of the entropic parameter deviates essentially from unity, the sallisfactorized statistics satisfactorily recovers the results of the sallis statistics. PACS..85.t Hadroninduced high and superhighenergy interactions.85.hd Inelastic scattering: manyparticle final states.60.k Statistical theory and fluctuations here is currently great interest in analyzing the experimental data on the transverse momentum distributions of hadrons created in the protonproton and heavyion collisions at high energies by different approximations of the sallisstatistics,,,,5,6,7,8,9,,,,,,5,6]. he momentum distribution of the sallisfactorized statistics given in 5,6] is very useful for the description of the experimental data because of its simple analytical formula. Although the momentum distributions of the sallisfactorized statistics were successfully used in analyzing the experimental data, the sallis statistics itself 7, 8] has not been applied to the treatment of the transverse momentum distributions of hadrons yet see Ref. 9] and references therein. he sallis statistics 7,8] is defined on the basis of the constrained extrema of the sallis entropy generalized from the BoltzmannGibbs entropy with respect to the manybody distribution functions. However, the sallisfactorized statistics 5,6] is defined on the basis of the constrained extrema of the sallis entropy of the ideal gas generalized from the BoltzmannGibbs entropy of the ideal gas with respect to the singleparticle distribution functions. hese two statistics give the different results for the thermodynamic uantities. It should be stressed that these two different extremizations give the same results for the mean occupation numbers only in the Boltzmann Gibbs statistics. But, for the sallis statistics this property of the ideal gas of the BoltzmannGibbs statistics is not preserved. hus, the sallisfactorized statistics and the sallis statistics are not euivalent. hey are different 9]. he sallis statistics 7] is thermodynamically selfconsistent in the thermodynamic limit. his was demonstrated in the framework of the different statistical ensembles in Refs. 0,,,]. he main theoretical difficulty of the sallisfactorized statistics is that the sallisfactorized statistics is defined only for a particular case of the ideal gas and that for each statistics of particles Maxwell Boltzmann, BoseEinstein and FermiDirac the entropy of the sallisfactorized statistics is redefined. he analytical expression for the ultrarelativistic transverse momentum distribution of the sallis statistics was obtained in 9]. It was demonstrated that the transverse momentum distribution of the sallisfactorized statistics 5,6], which is used for the description of the experimental transverse momentum spectra of hadrons at high energies, in the ultrarelativistic case is not euivalent to the transverse momentum distributions of the sallis and the sallis statistics. his distribution is similar only to the transverse momentum distribution of the sallis statistics in the zeroth term approximation and to the transverse momentum distribution of the sallis statistics in the zeroth term approximation with transformation of the parameter to the parameter / c. he main purpose of this study is to apply the analytical expression for the ultrarelativistic transverse momentum distribution of the sallis statistics given in Ref. 9] to describe the experimental data for the charged pions measured in pp collisions at LHC and RHIC energies and

In Section, we define the formulas and analyze the data and the results. he main conclusions are given in the final section. ransverse momentum spectrum Let us compare numerically the transverse momentum distributions of the sallis statistics with the transverse momentum distributions of the sallisfactorized statistics and apply them to describe the experimental data for the charged pions produced in pp collisions with energy in the range from s = 6. In this paper, we consider only the ultrarelativistic case. he singleparticle distribution function of the transverse momentum p and rapidity y for the MaxwellBoltzmann ultrarelativistic ideal gas of the sallis statistics in the grand canonical ensemble can be written as see Ref. 9] where and d N dp dy = gv p coshy + h 0 0 = h 0 0 = ω N N! h 00 Λ p coshy +µn + N N N ] +N,, < +N, >. For > the upper bound of summation N 0 follows from the sallis cutoff prescription ]. his means that we impose the condition + Λ + µn/ > 0 in E. and the ineuality + Λ p coshy +µn +/ > 0 in E.. It should be stressed that in the case of < we have two possibilities to find the cutoff parameter N 0 in Es. and. We can find N 0 from the local minimum of the function lnφn or from the inflection point of this function. In this paper, we fix the cutoff parameter N 0 from the inflection point of the function lnφn. In this case, the norm function Λ = 0 and the transverse momentum distribution is rewritten as d N dp dy = gvp coshy ] p coshy µ. 8 In the Gibbs limit, E. 8 resembles the Maxwell Boltzmann transverse momentum distribution of the Boltzmann Gibbs statistics 6. Note that the finite energy for the sallis statistics and the sallis statistics in the zeroth term approximation leads to the constraint that > / see Ref. 9]. See Fig. 6. he radius R for the distribution of the massless pions is independent of the energy of collision. he energy dependence of the parameter is represented in Fig. 7. he transverse momentum distribution for the massless pions has a powerlaw form and increasingly deviates from the exponential function with collision energy, i.e. the parameter isnot eualto unity anddecreasessignificantlywith s. he evident difference between the sallisfactorized statistics and the sallis statistics is clearly seen only at low energies of the NA6/SHINE Collaboration. At higher energies of the PHENIX and ALICE Collaborations this difference completely disappears. hus, we can conclude that in the expected NICA and FAIR energy range, which is close to the energy range of the NA6/SHINE Collaboration, the transverse momentum distributions of the sallis statistics should be used instead of the transverse momentum distributions of the sallisfactorized statistics given in 5,6]. It should be stressed that the fitted temperature of the sallis statistics for the NA6/SHINE data has an unphysical jump at s = 7. GeV. See Fig. 5 and able. Such a large jump in temperature may be entirely explained by the mathematical properties of the sallis statistics. he sums in Es. and for the sallis statistics are divergent for <. We regularize them by the cutoff procedure described above excluding the unphysical terms with N > N 0. he number of physical terms N 0 + in these sums depends on the values of the parameters,v,µ,.see,forexample,fig.8.hisnumber of terms in the sums and decreases discretely up to with increasing the deviation of the parameter from unity. One remaining term in these sums at small values of corresponds to the zeroth term approximation of the sallis statistics, the momentum distribution function of which is euivalent to the distribution function of the sallisfactorized statistics. Figure 8 clearly shows that the sums and of the sallis statistics contain two physical terms N 0 = at s =. GeV and one physical term N 0 = 0 at s = 7. GeV. hus, the change in the number of terms in these sums from two to one for s =. and 7. GeV leads to a jump in the fitted temperature of the sallis statistics. his is not a physical result but represents a mathematical problem of the original sallis statistics7, 8] in describing the transverse momentum distributions at high energies because the divergent series of the sallis statistics are truncated by the cutoff parameter N 0, which depends on the variables of state of the system. Discussion and conclusions In the present paper, the sallis statistics was applied to describe the experimental data on the transverse momentum distributions of hadrons. We have numerically compared the transverse momentum distribution of the sallis statistics with the transverse momentum distribution of the sallisfactorized statistics and applied them to describe the experimental data of the charged pions produced in pp collisions at energies of the NA6/SHINE, PHENIX and ALICE Collaborations. he parameters of the sallis statistics and the sallis factorized statistics were obtained. It was found that the results of the sallisfactorized statistics deviate from the results of the sallis statistics only at low energies of the NA6/ SHINE Collaboration when the values of the parameters and c are close to unity. At PHENIX and ALICE energies, which are higher, and when the values of the parameters and c deviateessentiallyfromunity, thesallisfactorized statistics recovers the results of the sallis statistics. hus, we can conclude that in contrast to the sallisfactorized
